I found the new Scarlet Spider figure! And kind of wish I'd not gotten this particular one because his left leg keeps popping out. Prowl, I know you have him, is this a thing? I'm thinking he might have a deformed waist, actually, because one of the joints comes up too far. (I'll take some pics tonight if anyone cares.)

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

I can take a look at it. But, it might be cheaper and easier to buy a new one. (Do you really want to muck around with remoulding the damned thing?)

Dom
-just skips lines with too much of that sort of problem.

I'd consider you lucky, since *both* of the legs on mine like to come off a little too easily. I attribute it to the type of plastic used (It's like...weird. Doesn't like to sit too tightly on the joints) and the shape of the upper thighs, which causes them to force out of their sockets if turned the wrong way. Haven't had this problem with any of the other MUs I've bought, so I guess it must just be Ben. Sucks, 'cause it's a really nice figure, otherwise, technically.

Not remoulding! Thinking something like some hot glue on the joints.

And like Prowl said, most of my MU guys are generally great. I had a problem with Colossus's hand nearly breaking the joint off but I'm chalking that up to my own stupidity and I didn't mind so much because he was $3.

Today's haul: Beast Wars season 1 on DVD. The Shout Factory edition rather than the older release. The opening credits are different and shorter than all my taped off-air episodes from years ago. I wonder why? Otherwise, it's nice to see these episodes again, and with good crisp picture and sound.

And as mentioned in the Feedback thread, box of awesome from Gomess yesterday. It included some of my favorited treats from England and several other surprises too. One of which was a Transformers candy packet that had a Mini-Con in it. Some other highlights included Walker's chips cheese and onion, smoky bacon, and salt and vinegar, two Yorkie chocolate bars, an Aero bar, and other assorted chocolates and candies.

Shorter howso? I seem to remember there being a "short" and "long" intro for the first season; dunno about the second and third season but I seem to remember the episode intros getting...almost progressively shorter as the series wore on.

ShockTrek, do the Minicons have names or anything? I'm curious.

They do, the one I got is a Decepticon named Skyhammer. It looks like there's an assortment of about 5 Autobots and 5 Decepticons. Skyhammer is ok for the size. I've seen airplane Minicons with better transformations and alt modes, so as a toy, he's not really blowing me away but as an extra in an extra goody I can't complain. And at least there's a decent plane mode.

As for reviews of the rest of the lot (particularly Aero vs. Wispa) I haven't eaten either one yet and it's been years since I've had them so I'll have to comment on that later. The Fizzy Lemons were not quite what I had in mind but I've still enjoyed them nonetheless. I was actually thinking of Sherbert Lemons which have a hard exterior and some sort of fizzy stuff on the inside that tastes like pure lemon flavored magic on your tongue. The ones I have are similar to Lemon Drops that we have over here. Either way, I got English lemon flavored candy so it satisfied the craving just the same. Reviews of other stuff as I eat it.
