Hauled a broken tooth out of my mouth on Friday. Doc thought initially we could salvage it, but x-rays showed the damage would make it more repair and post than root which he felt wasn't worth attempting. The extraction did not go smoothly, but it didn't hurt, just took a long time and then I blew the clot shopping for my extraction food, bled a LOT.

Also picked up while shopping ($3 off no less)...

Star Wars Homing Spider Droid - nifty, big foot print because it's so spindly, and I love they put a cockpit in this thing just like it'd have in SW Battlefront 2 (non-movie-accurate, but more fun). Deco is ok, simple but works. Weapons are a'ight. Poseability could be better but it does have some. And I wish the thing at full height stronger.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

I am TYPING ON IT AS WE SPEAK. 20" iMac with an 8gb iPod Touch thrown in free. Greetings from student debt land, population me.

Now if I could just get my router to work the touch.... anybody know anything about setting up wireless properly?

Oh, and while I'm at it:

How big is the cockpit that I knew nothing of? This may have piqued my interest.

I got P-P-P-POWERGLIDE and Silverbolt. Both fairly win. I was kinda upset about Silverbolt's simplistic, well, everything but overall I like him. He's big. Now Powerglide, that's a fun toy.

Pretty cramped, but it's a droid brain of a vehicle, so it's not meant to be roomy. It has some detailing, and they say on the box it's able to hold a Battle Droid which are pretty thin, but I was able to get one of the new animated Clones in there seated at the controls and close the top, and they're very tall figures, so any fig that can bend its hips enough and isn't Grievous should be able to pilot it.

Picked up TFA Snarl. He's a testament to my habit of buying for completion and nothing else. I'm on the high side of indifferent towards this toy, and this character (I blame the fact that he doesn't even have a VOICE ACTOR in the show), but I bought it anyway because I wanted to polish off Wave 3, and I want to have all three Dinobots eventually. That said, his beast mode is better than I expected, being surprisingly posable, his transformation is complex, though not intuitive (And the positioning of the beast head on the chest is rather nebulous), and his robot mode is kind of adorable really. He's got this kind of detached, resigned look on his face. He's like a Dinobot version of Eyore. I almost feel sorry for the little fella.

Actually, he's got kind of a Mike Mignola/Hellboy look to him in robot mode too, which is kinda cool.

The head folds nicely into the body. It is all in how you finagle the crotch.

And, I snagged Encore Jazz.

Whee, forums on my phone, go go gadget mobile access. Raided one of my local stores today, they'd surprisingly restocked rather quickly. Finally new Animated. Mega Prime and Blitzwing are now mine, stoked with the both of them. Few minor niggles with both, but there always is, so. Worthy efforts with some very neat parts, expect more thoughts upon my return home.
