Animated Waspinator.

Had to own this guy after seeing him in action. While he is a satisfactory representation of the version in the show, he has a disappointingly simple transformation and lack of gimmicks. Where did his previous mode's hand stingers go? Why is his abdomen just an empty chunk of plastic? Where is THY sting, Waspinator? This toy feels a little phoned in, but at least he looks up to par. Great colors and styling on this one, almost wish he'd been much bigger, both to make up for the lack of other neat stuff and because he's a monster in the show. As is, Waspy can barely menace Bumblebee at all! This is the last Animated toy I pick up for a long time and wasn't planning on getting this in fact. If I can find a Black Arachnia at this point I will likely grab her.

Big toys simply do not work with Animated's aesthetic, I feel. I got Grimlock and he's boring as hell. Scale be damned, that's a crap toy.

oh, I just meant a bigger deluxe. Like Lockdown, you know? Waspinator is so simple, they could've upped the scale a bit and given us some more plastic.

Shockwave is the only voyager I've seen use that size well, Optimus just has the twirly legs gimmick, and Starscream is simple but still unimpeachable to me.

I'd disagree, and Shockwave, Optimus, Starscream, Wreck-Gar, and Ultra Magnus all second my motion.

God I want a Voyager Sentinel Prime so bad.

Some of those, I'd give you, except I don't own them, since they're expensive. Stupid $20 toys.

Wasn't Atomic Robo 3:1 supposed to come out today?

Do try to keep up: http://www.atomic-robo.com/

They try hard to make sure there's never any delays, but the printer screwed up and it got delayed. They're 'hoping' to get it for next week.

Frankly I'm glad it didn't, because this and AHM #10 would be way too much awesome to handle in one day. (Mind, I didn't get AHM #10 because I didn't get a chance to get out to the comic shop today, because...well my power went out in the night and my alarm didn't go off, so I ended up missing classes, and since I missed classes, why even bother driving out to Indiana, right?)

Rants like these is why you need Twitter, Prowl. Get on that! 86 has it! You should too!

I'll try to limit this to 140 characters: Twitter sucks.
