There's that, although I've never personally seen a green ambulance.Dominic wrote:I know the type of ambulance you are talking about But, green is more common, and hence more resonant. (And, we have a "warm color" variant with the "Rescue" Ratchet figure.)
It's not so much that they're asking for a MASK revival, but the fact that they keep clamouring about it despite that it was said multiple times that Matt Trakker Is A One Off Figure There Is No MASK Revival.I see nothing wrong with fans asking for a "MASK" revival. They are just telling Hasbro what they want to see. And, "MASK" as a line is *really* under-appreciated. I had a few as a kid, but was never really into it. There are a few, really beaten up, pieces at the local comic store. I would not bother with any of them as toys unto themselves, (as they are all missing bits or really scuffed), but I can see how good they would be if completed. I can even see lobbying for a favorite character.
Mindbender was vaguely announced in a statement a while ago that basically said "Here's some guys that're coming out. We can't tell you when." Zap was also in the list.(I am lucky in that most of the guys I really want have just been coming out naturally, with Mutt and Junkyard pretty much delivering what I really wanted since mid-'07. My only real long-shots are Law and Order, Raptor and Recondo. Recondo is not completely un-realistic. And, Doctor Mindbender is really only a matter of time.)
Well, not 'all' of them are like that, a lot will go with new stuff, like some of the reviewers. The Bazooka Troopah is a big hit, I've seen, but a lot of people bitch because he's a lighter shade of blue. Yes, they will bitch because he is not the same shade of blue as the other Troopers. Also, Hasbro's recent red-symbol single carded Trooper has a red mask, which made a bunch of people pissy because...they wanted to army build them with *black* masks! Jesus. What irks me is the fact that so many Joe fans have failed to learn from other franchises, (SW, Trek, or TF), and insist on the franchise being exactly what it was 20+ years ago. No matter how they dress it up, most complaints from Joe-fans come down to "it is not what I had growing up, assuming I ever did grow up". Do they have to like everything? No. But, I find it strange they only like things that harken back to the days before 1986.
