The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Um...why, exactly? The X-9 version pretty much nailed it. Unless you want them to try some craziness like making one that actually turns into a casette.
SynjoDeonecros wrote:2. G1 Predaking (just imagine it: a rerelease or update of Magnaboss in the G1 Predacon colors. That would kick so much ass, in my opinion.)
We've actually discussed this one a few times, and the general conclusion is that yeah, it would kick ass. And that the elephant mold should be a new character named Stampede.
3. Sky Lynx (because, hey, who wouldn't like a new version of him?)
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES holy crap I can't believe I'm not the only one who wants this. Every time this sort of question comes up, my first reaction is SKY LYNX. I'm just going to keep saying it until Hasbro does it. And before you tell me it won't work, it worked with Octane, so there.

One, I'm still bummed that they had to cancel their plans to release the X-9 mold in the BW 10th Anniversary line (meaning I had to pay over $100 to get mine), and two, I still say that - with the recent release of BW Cheetor and Dinobot in Classics and the prospect of more characters coming should the line be resumed - this would be a perfect time for them to finally get it over with. And if it COULD turn into a cassette, that would be a nice bonus, but to be honest, even I'm having a hard time thinking about how they could do it and not make it look crappy.
As for Predaking, I can see them remolding the elephant as a rhino for Headstrong. It wouldn't be too difficult; just remold the elephant head into a rhino head, and there you go.

But...if you already have the damn toy, why would you want them to rerelease it in Universe? Or release a new toy that wouldn't be that different from the one you already have?

Except that the legs are entirely too long for a rhino, and the elephant's tusks are integral to Magnaboss (sorta).
SynjoDeonecros wrote:4. Omega Supreme (he needs a redesign so badly.)
This would be #1 on my list. Omega is one of my top five favorite G1 figures and characters. I'd love a redone version with some actual articulation, though I don't know how Hasbro designers would handle the design. The original is a bunch of little parts that clip together in various ways to make the robot, and I can't see Hasbro designing a literal 'partformer' like this. So I wonder if we'd ever get the tank/track/rocket/launcher alt mode again? Probably not, but I'd be interested in seeing what they'd come up with.

Well, they'd have to make a new mold for the figure, since they lost the old one, and the whole point of Classics is new molds for old figures. And the Classics version of Cheetor and Dinobot aren't all that similar to their BW versions. It would be interesting to see what they come up with for the Classics version of him.
Besides that, I'm a bit of a completest; not a die-hard one, mind you, but I do have the X-9 Ravage, his Tripredacus Agent TM2 figure, and almost all the molds of TM Cheetor (minus the unreleased ones and Botcon TM Tigatron, which I'm planning on getting sometime in the future). A new Ravage figure would definitely improve on my collection.
As for the elephant, you might be right about the legs, but I used to have the figure (and am looking into getting it again for a kitbashing project of mine), and I can tell you the tusks aren't really needed to complete the figure. Besides, this'll be Predaking, not Magnaboss, so they can afford to do a little bit of tweaking.
Since I just plum don't want to pay more than a hundred bucks for a deluxe, I'd be okay with the new BW Ravage, myself. That guy had class, man. And a cool accent. Not that it'd have anything to do with the toy, but it'd be fun for me, dammit.
Also Omega Supreme, because it'd be neat. I'd almost be okay with a brown, orange, and red repaint of the Energon one, but of course, I'd just as soon have an all-new kinda thing.
I dunno, do Leaders and Supremes even sell well enough anymore to warrant a new-mold one for a filler line? And Omega'd have to be Leader-size, at the very least. Ideally Supreme, but at least Leader.
Hm.
In before Classics 3's "Omega Supreme" is a repainted ROTF Legends toy or somethin'.
Y'know what'd be a nice complement to the Predaking thing? Repainted Tripredacus repainted as Deluxe Insecticon homages. Cicadacon'd could be done up as either Venom or Ransack (I vote Venom, cause brighter colors), Ramhorn's pretty much Chopshop or whatevuh anyway, and Sea Clamp...well, that's where it breaks down. But it'd be neat, dammit. Then use the fourth guy's name for the gestalt? It was either that or suggest the ol' Magmatron/Dinobot repaint thing, which I'd also buy.

Mmm, Tripredacus repaint.. I'd vote for Cicadacon as Venom, Ramhorn as Barrage, and Sea Clamp as Nautilator! The combined form could have some awesomely cheesy name like Insectiking. Or just plain awesome, like Swarm.
I like it. Plus, if you played your cards right, color-wise, you could have a truly interesting-looking combined form. Between "Decepticon Venom"'s orange and green, and Nautilator's bright blue, you're well on the way to something amazing.
Dear Hasbro, this. Thanks.

I'm still gonna cast my vote for an Ultra class Shockwave, space gun style. I just think it would be neat (and yes, I have an original). BW Ravage would be cool as I've never been able to afford an X-9 (I opted to afford Shockwave instead). Omega would be cool if they did it right. Same with Sky Lynx. Predaking and Piranhacon would both be cool as long as they weren't just repaints of past figures. The problem here is that I seriously doubt they'll spend the time and money designing an entire new combiner. The other problem with this idea is that I also seriously doubt they would release it in a box set, lessening the chances that anyone would actually be able to get a complete one.
