What is with all the bladed weapons, they make no sense

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

Mm. In his Serious Movie Retrospectives you'll hear him say "German Expressionism", but get him talking about Ninja Turtles and suddenly it's "Yeahhhhh.. *shy shy shy* Fuck farts!"

Bladed weapons still make sense.

I'd have liked to see more bludgeoning melees in the TF movies.

...Sorry, I know you're not Filipino, but couldn't resist singing when I saw "siew mai".

I'd like to see MORE bludgeoning weapons. I'm not a big fan of "fight scenes" as it is, unless they're there to tell a story or show us something about a character, and that's generally done far better through close combat than long-distance firefights. Guns just bore me.
