adaptation and tie-in discussion (w/ spoilers)

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

But I *do* remember BigMD. I hope his musical career went somewhere.

EDIT: I also remember Kal. He and I did not get on. And Optimal-T. She and I did get on! And Trinacron. Uh... I'm not sure anyone got on with Trinacron. And are you sure you don't mean Vegetower? I mean Hightower. Whatever, the other Kiwi (right? He wasn't an Aussie, was he?).
VEGETOWER, YES THAT WAS IT. And Trinacron was a jerk.

Sometimes I think Sparky is Trinacron in disguise.

That was a joke! I am joking.
Seriously, have you talked to PCM at all in the last couple years? 86 and I have routinely been looking for him.

Shame, that. Hey, since we're talking about musical careers that'll never take off, go listen to my shit you damn Brit. They're free streaming and downloads, you have no excuse.

You're right, I will do that when I've finished listening to what I'm listening to.

(I'm just not really a "music guy"! I'll try my best.)

Then you got newbs like me who didn't join until 07 shortly before the movie came out. Which was my first foray into the fandom. Then, a year later the site went down. Go figure.

See, I hadn't even thought of that. I guess I just have a bad memory for these sorts of things. The only guys I know are "new" are Tigermegatron and Ursus, and if they stick around another month then I'll have forgotten that too!

Don't think I'm not still mad about that. For the second time, Ben screws us over without warning. Even if his current forum wasn't a horribly-laid out turd, I wouldn't go back out of principle.

Not to say anything bad about the man, of course, but it seems like he was running a forum because running the forum was the thing to do then, or possibly because of contract issues. (I seem to recall something like this.)

Yeah, I pretty much gave up after that too. I've gone back and posted like twice since it's been back up, but that's about it and that's been well over a year.

Yeah, the old forum going down was...less than well handled. And, the new forum's absurd confirmation process pretty much killed it before it started. When I do lurk there, the most recent posts are usually weeks, if not months, old.

Still, Ben generally posts useful reviews and such.

It wasn't even once that it happened, mind--it was twice. Once with the old Ikonboard, and then again with the phpbb.
