Well, of course. And the fiction claiming that Dion is just Dion was just fine until that damn Jazz bio brought it up again. And Dion being Jazz is no more fanwanky or fanfictiony than Dion being Magnus or Ironhide.

There are a couple of ways to read it. Perhaps the new status quo assumes that Pax/Prime had more than one friend. Maybe Prime met Jazz after quitting his stevedor job.

That too. That's what I'd hope, anyway. Kind of the reason I asked. Hope nobody else asked the same thing--although, didn't we submit them 'after' Botcon? So everybody else would go, "Pfft, Jazz isn't in the HoF, who cares." For all we know, Jazz will get in next year and they won't mention it at all.

I'm sure, but I wanted to ask at least as a statement of our annoyance towards this situation.

I am not seeing how it could have been more direct. I set up the situation as it stands now then asked "Will you be releasing a Classics mold of Thundercracker to mass-retail? Not Action Master or Shattered Glass or some other background Seeker instead, but regular Thundercracker?" I would have preferred feedback on this BEFORE I sent it, but I still could use the feedback for future editing.

The question has kind of been answered by virtue of the fact that there wasn't an Action Master Thundercracker this year at Botcon. They wanted to, but Hasbro said the mold is in use. So they're using it for something, but my money's still on either Sunstorm or another Starscream repaint.

It can't possibly be the Dirge and upcoming Thrust, no...

No, they would be why there wasn't a G2 Ramjet in the set. Apparently both conehead and non conehead seeker molds are currently being used.

Why would they make an entirely separate mould for the coneheads and not just do new parts? To me, that doesn't make any sense, but whatever.

I still think it's Dirge and Thrust that's the reason, myself.

I was moslty making the distinction between the wings and heads, not sure if Hasbro actually considers that two different molds or variations of one.

Well, we do know that the base body actually does have two separate moulds out there (the Wiki has the minor details) but considering how close Dirge and Thrust are being released to each other, they may be using both moulds.
