Based on scourge's review, I picked up Sideways at HEB, again for $10.98. It's not the cheapest cheap price, but it's better than however much they are everywhere else in this town. Also based on Mr. Scourge's words, I applied a black wash to pretty much all the red pieces. Looks good. The guy has some weak ass hip joints though.

(Pssst...I think it was O6 that reviewed Sideways. I don't even have one of 'em to review).

Ben Franklin just informed me that I got the names confused in my last post. My apologies to Mr. Belvedere and Admiral Ackbar

Amusing that, of all people, I was confused for Scourge, and not the other Onslaught around here.

Take it as a complement. I am.

Totally calling being "Mr. Belvedere", though. I say, Wesley...

Okay, please, no Belvedere references. I watched it as a kid as well, and am properly ashamed. Now, can we please move on.....

A trip to visit and trade with Lewis and Zab yielded:

BotCon 09 convention comic
KMart movie tie-in comic
weird Japanese movie flier

an old Armada pin

-some Japanese Minicons (act 3)

-1 TFU Sideswipe (customizing)
-1 TFU Sunstreaker (maybe customizing, maybe keeping in package)

Dom
-now, to make Clampdown.

Clampdown! Yay, Police Repaints. Frankly, I'm surprised there wasn't a Police Ratchet repaint in Diaclone--although Red Alert didn't exist to begin with, he was a repaint of Police Sideswipe.

"Classics" Jetfire/Grimlock two pack. I do not have either of these molds, in any iteration. So, I am really looking forward to opening this one.

Like Anderson, I am not likely to be getting any TFs for a while now (outside of customizing), as I have most of the movie stuff I want. (The only upcoming items that really sing to me, and that are confirmed as coming out, are the ice-cream truck combiner and maybe Devastator.)

-Final Crisis compilation
-Revenge of the Fallen compilation

Dom
-still needs to review a pile of stuff.

Wow, really? Jetfire's a great mould, although his robot mode is lacking when it comes to paint. This is likely because his wings have huge amounts of paint on 'both sides.' It's nuts.
