QC warning re: Sunstreaker and Prowl

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Assuming it uses the same clip style, I was thinking of jamming a piece of plastic shrapnel in the middle of the clip so it won't pop out with ease. Has worked wonders in the past.

The part is very thin. You could do any of that, but I suspect the whole thing would break off its peg at that point.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Maybe it's just mine, but it's definitely not as bad as you guys are making out. Sure, they can pop off, but it's no worse than the ball joints on most other figures.

God dammit, Prowl!

(no, not BWprowl, he cool)

So, I decide "Hey, I know, I'll fiddle with ol' Universe Prowl. He's pretty cool. Aaaaand the paint gets all sticky and smudges. My fingerprints are all of a sudden embedded in the car's front fenders. This is irritating to no end.

And it would show up after having had this honkey for weeks, too. Arg.

Yeesh. I'm somehow glad I just preordered Takara's tonight.

Also, Universe has finally come out here, so I'm off to hunt for Sunstreaker tomorrow.

Gasp. I've had my Prowl roughly the same amount of time. That's not good.

I make a point of wrapping my Autobot cars, expecially from recent years, whenever I store them. I actually put Prowl in a box last week. Now, I am *really* glad I wrapped it. Scourge, if you get over to CA before I do, warn WWCD about the Prowl I sent him.

Say what I will about toy-hacks, but this never happened during G1.
