Pair of noise canceling headphones at a bookstore going out of business. They were half off $20, and thus $10. I'm not sure how well they active cancel noise--I can still hear myself typing on the keyboard a little with them on right now--but ten bucks, hey. I kind of want to get another pair and try bashing them into a pair of sweet retro looking cases. Right now I look a little dorky.

Was discussing crap with a friend of mine today:

"Yeah, I was just up at the comic shop the other day..."

"Wait. We have a comic shop?"

"...Yeah. It's right up the road by Big Lots."

"We have a Big Lots?"

So we missioned off to it to see what-all they had. I ended up picking out an assortment of 20 Shadowman comics at...ten cents each, totaling '$2!' Alright! They also had, hey, a full bunch of TF comics, so I may be stopping in there to buy individual issues occasionally.

You gonna see if they can order Atomic Robo for you?

Anyway, stopped off at the ol' Comico Shoppo myself today:

Transformers War Within Omnibus- I gave my original War Within vol. 1 trade away as a Christmas gift, so this release was timely. It's a *very* nice little book, and the look of it makes me think that there could be more Omnibuses of this style from IDW later on. Bring on the G2 Omnibus!

Batman R.I.P. trade- I know, I know, call me what you will. But as much as I know nothing in this will stick, I'm still interested in seeing what goes down in this story, especially since I plan to check out all this 'Battle For The Cowl' stuff as the individual issues come out. Because I like to see myself suffer, apparently.

I'm definitely gonna look into it. I'm gonna order the second TPB from Border's, though, because apparently now they just ship it to your house instead of it coming into the store. Sweeeet.
Bring on the G2 Omnibus!
This. I need a high-res scan of the fifth issue's cover for a background, incidentally...

Hey, look! Prowl's into S&M! He bought Batman: RIP!

Stopped by the comic shop again to preorder Atomic Robo volume 3 #1, which comes out in May (Boo! Good thing there's the second TPB on the way), dug through a box of trades and collections for a bit, found the Shadowman #0 issue with the spiffy foil cover for $2. That is, hilariously, as much as I spent on the huge lot of Shadowman comics the other day, but hey.

DC Universe Classics Wonder Woman- The sole survivor of a Despero Wave that hit my Target while I wasn't looking, apparently. Hopefully they'll get another shipment, I'd rather like to get Cyborg. Anyway though, now I finally have a complete DCUC Trinity! I really wish Wonder Woman had come with a cape though. I wonder how hard it would be to make her one...

And some CDs:
The White Stripes- Icky Thump
Del Tha Funky Homosapien- Eleventh Hour
