A recent concoction of my own design.

I was bored at work and decided I'd engineer a song experiment. I popped open FL (because I use my own laptop at work, kickass) and started Writing A Song without actually 'listening' to what I was doing.

Eventually I got home, listened, and refined it a fair bit. This is the result.

It's called Deaf because I wrote most of it without hearing it, natch.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

"In Defense of Dorchester" by the Street Dogs. Biggest Circle Pit I've ever seen when they played at Warped Tour. Though not the most violent.

They're Coming To Take Me Away, by Neuroticfish. Cover of the Napolean XIV classic, and it samples a bassline from Doctor Who. It can't not be awesome.

20th Century Boy, by Placebo. Cranking the covers, it'd seem. Placebo's covers are classy stuff, I'm also fond of their version of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill. This particular one, a T-Rex cover, is awfully jaunty.

"The Dumbest Man in The World" by my boys, the Kansas City Bearfighters. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... =160328127

Why is it that whenever I see 'em play this live, the singer dedicates this song to me?
