I am talking about toys going the way of comics in the sense that the hobby looks to be getting more insular, incorporating references that you have to be an "old-timer" to get.

But it's not--Animated's bringing in the kids and the movie is, too, to an extent--though the movie also brought in a fair share of the Casual Moviegoer folk.
