Thrust is pretty rad and I like him a lot. End of review.
Okay, I'll elaborate a bit more. This guy as all the strengths of the previous uses of the mold. His colors work pretty well, all dark, reddish-brown, black, and some gold highlights that fit together nicely. The one I have doesn't have any issues with the paint, everything looks nice and clean. Also, all the joints on mine are very tight, this thing holds together nicely.
One touch on this toy that I like a lot is that he's got the regular Seeker guns, not the Ramjet missiles. It's a little extra thing to make this toy a little more different than his forebear. Of course, the wings do a little more there, but still. As for the wings, interesting way of going, making the VTOL bits removable. So you can put 'em on the tailfins or on either side of the wings. More display options? Why not!
One more thing about the wings here. You can display 'em flipped up, but then you run into the familiar problem where they block the arm articulation (at least, they do when the arms have the guns on 'em). You can solve this by flipping the wings down, like Ramjets, but Thrust's are a bit wider than Ramjets', so it doesn't quite look as good. Also, left down, the long tapering front of the wing is blocked by the robot's arm, so it doesn't quite fit into place. It stays at just enough of an angle to impede (just slightly) the leg articulation. Nothing that bad, and it's no worse than the other versions of this mold have done. Minor problem, really.
So, in conclusion, Thrust is pretty rad and I like him a lot.
