We're just supposed to forget that he and Sludge exist.

Sludge being excised from history at least almost makes sense--the animal he was supposed to be no longer exists.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Sure it does (or did... technically none of the dinosaurs still exist). Only the name "brontosaurus" was changed for accuracy since the animal was not different enough from apatosaurus to be classified as a different dinosaur. The animal did exist. And it doesn't really matter anyway, since Sludge could be any long-necked dinosaur since his anatomy and pose are inaccurate. The same is true of any of the dinobots.

I always kinda figured the Stegosaurus could be called 'Striker' now. It works, and Hasbro already used it for a Stegosaurus 'Dinobot' a couple times in the past.

Round 2... FIGHT! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=793

Yes, it's the 2011 Hall of Fame voting thread we've got going on there. Who will be the 4th member of the 2011 Transformers Hall of Fame? Will it be Jazz? Will it be Hound? Will it be Grimlock?
Spoiler
(Yeah, it'll be Grimlock. You know it's true. Then again, I said that last year probably but then it was Dinobot.)

Dang, my list is nearly identical to last year, I just removed Soundwave from the top and moved everybody up, then put Jazz in. I don't think I would have put Jazz in were it not for the Generations figure, not because he's not a cool character, but because it had just been a while since we had seen him.

If anybody thinks Hotshot or Barricade could win, I would support them. Lockdown...not so much.

Dom
-down with Dinibot.
I think this is a bit of a hardliner take on the matter. Without big personalities in other areas like BW, we are doomed to merely nominate all the main G1 guys. Hot Shot was an ass-clown in Armada, and Barricade is barely a character, with just 3 lines in the film. Dinobot, meanwhile, died so you could live.

What I am saying is that last year an obnoxious portion of the fandom got their character in by plurality. More people wanted "not-Dinobot" than Dinobot. If we can agree to a more consistent ranking now, and then agree to a more consistent voting pattern in the actual poll, we can avoid Willis and co fucking things up again.

Oh Dom, let it go. So a few other fans are jerks about Beast Wars, screw 'em, they're nothing to you. Enjoy it for what you like about it and ignore what everyone else thinks.

Having said that, I do have to agree with Dom's idea about preventing anymore sandbagging from David "I take full credit for this" Willis.

Shockwave
-Would probably really hate Beast Machines if I paid that much attention to other fans.
