I would kill for Impactor. Yeah, he's such an obvious 80s/90s Image Comics antihero kind of guy, but that's why I love him.

Even echoing previous statements is helpful. It also helps to know how people tend to review figures. For example, 86 and I have a tendency (and I know Dom's pointed this out before) to forgive sometimes major flaws in a figure if they have certain redeeming features that we find appealing. "Okay, he can't move his legs too well, but...'chaingun hands!'

Word on this one. Hell, I think I was one of the last people to get Bludgeon, and I still felt like shooting off my big bazoo about him. Even if everybody's said it already, you'll likely say it a different way. What the hell good is a message board for robot toys if you can't blather on about a robot toy you like, am I right?

Oh. Well ok, expect a lot of reviews forthcoming then. As for Straxus, I have 0 complaints about this figure. It's a little tough to revert to tank mode, but it can do it so that's not really a minus. Plus the versatility of the weapons really adds a lot to what could have wound up being an otherwise blah figure.

Lost what? The pistol, or the whole Straxus? Because one of those situations sucks more than the other.

Between this and Mindwipe, you've been having a hell of a time with new toys, haven't you?

Nah, I was wrong, I didn't lose it. (The gun was what I meant, I mean. Not Straxus.) I think I lost something else though, somebody's gun or other. New Mindwipe is working out nicely though.

I tend to treat losing a piece as losing the toy actually.

O6, can you get more stable shelves?

It'd help if I even had shelves at this point. Understand, where I'm living now isn't exactly conductive to a toy collecting environment. I was only ever supposed to be living with my father in this trailer for a year, and that's up in January so I'll be back to my other house.

It's usually not an issue, it's just whenever anybody does laundry. I don't have a lot of toys at this house anyway so it's not usually a big deal.

Oi gevault. I wish I could send you that video footage of my room. We could compare notes.

I don't regard losing the piece as losing the whole figure, but my solution is basically to manufacture the replacement part anyway so that probably has something to do with it. If I didn't have access to such technology and had to replace said figure, I probably would think that way.

I haven't picked up Straxus yet. I finally saw a few in stores this past weekend, but I passed for now in favor of Megatron. My question is this: is this a good Transformer if separated from the context of the comics? I've never really read any of the comics with Straxus, so I have no connection with the character, and tank Transformers are a dime a dozen. Is it a good purchase for someone like me who knows nothing about the character?
