Ok, here's an idea: New stuff, old stuff, older stuff, other stuff.

JT, what new forums do you have to add? Did I miss an announcement?

Ok, now I have an idea (a real one, not my bad jokes from earlier). Maybe the review threads could be modded so that each member has their own review thread.

That would not work. It just split the reviews up and make them harder to read.

That becomes a big problem when New Stuff becomes Old Stuff, because then those threads have to be manually tracked down and moved, 1 by 1.

It's not exactly that we NEED a new forum, but with PCC, Generations, War for Cybertron, TF Prime, Movie 3, and more coming in, and Animated no longer "now", work needs to be done no matter what. And Other Stuff is in The Now, but some is clearly not current anymore.

Anyway, I'm almost ready to get to work on this finally. Comic-Con and the post-comic-con work really took it out of me.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

PCC fits into Generations, if only by virtue of packaging, lack of fiction and general member apathy. Movie 3 will obviously stay in the movie forum. WfC is supposedly the same continuity as Prime and even as that stands, it's not like we're discussing WfC all that much (I've got it, it's a spiffy game, the best TF has ever gotten, but the actual discussion value in it beyond gameplay stuff is kind of dildos--it kind of does nothing new with the universe) and Prime won't be coming until the fall.

That's all well and good for the initiated, but for the newcomer, it too is dildos, Toki.

We have newcomers?

It's just, like, I really feel like what we have now is good. It's streamlined and emphasises function 'and' form. Any newcomers who show up are able to quickly be initiated just by having a look around. It's not the bloated, huge mess that a forum like TFW2005 or TFormers is.

In that case, we could just have a section for dildos. But I fear that may attract the wrong kind of newcommer.
