Re: Robot Heroes - general review and comments
Sooo...how's bout them Transformers Robot Heroes, then? I just scored a couple more of 'em tonight!
Robot Heroes Arcee vs. Rumble!
Arcee: Man, did I ever want this toy to be cooler. Ah, well. Not a bad sculpt, although she looks tiny, but her expression is kinda...either high or just plain dumb, I dunno. I like the smirk,(though, I can't decide if the lack of "lipstick" helps or hurts here) but the shape of her eyes just is odd. Other than that, decent detailing for such a figure, and a fairly dynamic pose. See, she's running, and jumping over...either smoke, or some kinda crystals...or maybe an explosion. Okay, I'll admit it. Arcee's a fairly half-assed figure. Okay, there. But, she's got a kinda nifty lil' pistol, and three points of articulation, meaning you actually can get a few poses out of her permanent running thing. But, she's worth it anyway because she comes with...
RUMBLE!: I kinda like this toy. Rumble's kinda hunched over, squatted down, and he's got his pounders at the ready, just about to shake everything on down..and he could not be happier. The expression of fierce glee on his face is hilarious. Anyway, all the detail you'd want outta this character is there. Cassette-chest symbols? Check. Guns on his back? Check. Um. Whatever else you want outta Rumble? Check. I dunno, the face, combined with my liking for the character, really sells this for me. Oh, yeah, the colors. Black, mostly, with a kinda nice maroon sorta shade. A lot nicer, actually, than if they'd gone with a bright screaming kinda red. Now, I'm gonna go find my Alt. Rumble, and see if this guy can take a ride in there....
Grade: C Rumble's awesome, but Arcee brings the grade average down. A shame, really, I wanted to be real happy to finally get a nifty pink fembot up in this line...

Re: Robot Heroes - general review and comments
I didn't know this set was out yet. I'd have to see Rumble's color to comment. I think the original toy was a slightly bright red and black, but nothing as laid-back as Alternator Rumble, who really is a very sedate red, almost burgundy. And it'll be nice to have a G1 Arcee figure, even if I was never all that enamoured with the character.

Yeah...thinking of it, he's kinda close to his Alternator's color. It looks pretty nifty. And red. Nifty and very red.andersonh1 wrote:I didn't know this set was out yet. Excellent. Good to hear Rumble is red, as he should be.

I still haven't seen Arcee or Rumble around here. Hopefully the set will turn up soon.

If that stays all hard to find and whatnot, I can likely find one for you 'round these parts. It'd be worth the finding and mailing one your way to see Rumble turn up in the Weeble house.andersonh1 wrote:I still haven't seen Arcee or Rumble around here. Hopefully the set will turn up soon.
