Dinobot's worth it, in my opinion, though I've skipped Cheetor. No sign or Cosmos or Warpath around here.

I passed on both. Dinobot would be buyable if his colours weren't suck.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Dinobot's colours are okay, they just aren't very Dinobot. I've got the Henkei coming shortly, and plan a comparison review, so. Mould's got a bad rep, but is nowhere near the suck that is Cheetor.

Well, isn't that the whole point of the toy? To...look like Dinobot?

From some of the things I've been reading on other boards, it looks like the $4.99 Target sale was a mistake, which has now been corrected. The Shockwave and Sunstorm sets are ringing up for $2 off instead of $20, which frankly does make more sense. So if you missed it, you're probably out of luck at this point.

Phooey. And I even considered driving the whole way out to Altoona to get one.

I can confirm the price change. Went to Target this evening with the family to shop for baby stuff, and saw the endcap marked back up to $22 or so. So either Target goofed up, or we just had a very quick two-day sale on exclusives. Who knows? :|

No? Universe and the 25th line aren't exactly show-accuracy central, here. Prowl sure doesn't look like a Fairlady Z to me.

Anyway. I can has First Strike Prime thanks to Movie Mega clearances, woo. Held up on getting this one because I already have two flavours of Mega Prime, no complaints from me when the price drops by 50%. It's a pretty neat deco too, much better out of box than he looked in box, and much better than the shoddy stock images would have you believe. Was tempted to paint him up as Laser Prime, but I kinda like the deco as-is. Maybe I'll have to get 'another' to customise, bwaah.

Transformers Animated: The Arrival TPB: Eh, for twelve bucks, what the heck. I liked *most* of this series, and it was There when I was grabbing this week's comics, so.

But he 'does' look Like Prowl, which is what I was getting at. You look at him and go, "Oh, hey, it's Prowl." I don't get that as much when I see Dinobot's initial robot mode, because of the crappy colours. (Incidentally, seeing the Henkei one does away with this.)
