Stuff I've bought since the last time I posted, which was far too long ago because I am the king procrastinator...

Clone Wars Clone Trooper in Space Gear - I was not going to get this figure for sure, but when I saw it yesterday on the pegs, the only new figure, I studied it. The selling features for me were that the space vest was removable, leaving a regular clone underneath, and I only have the 1 so far; and the vest has a built-on holster for the smaller pistol, that really cemented my interest. Paint on the clone matches that from the episode they were pulled (that despite them not sporting this space gear), and ties into the Republic logos on Plo Koon's armor. They also tossed in the missile and missile-firing jetpack from CW Obi-Wan, plugging into a hole on the armor back, but they left the mold curved so it fits funny. Ok set, if you don't mind the deco it's the basic clone plus new accessories.

Marvel Transformers Captain America - cool up-armored humvee alt mode, looks real beefy. Transformation is a pain in the rump in a couple places, but otherwise ok. Sculpting is very detail-oriented, no more blank flat insides or backs. Bot mode is equally beefy, and they added a few nifty touches like interior designs on the elbows. Shoulder design is a let-down, it's odd to use and gets hung up on the fenders. All in all, a mixed bag but what works works pretty well.

4 Falken ZE-912 tires - my old set had a few little cracks, a plug from a screw, and were cheapos to begin with (although they were holding up great for cheapos). Then I ran over another screw after Culver City public works had everybody drive through a construction zone, and it was in the same tire as the last plug, so I just threw in the towel and got new ones. These are H-rated performance tires.

Lego Star Wars Complete Saga for PS3

new CV boot for my car + fixed the horn situation (corroded contacts)

X-men Origins Wolverine Comic Series 3.75" wave 1

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

I got stood up for a date with a pregnant chick on Saturday (long story?) so I bought the first Penny Arcade compilation book and a snazzy Dragonball Z shirt on clearance for $8. Screw you, I like...well, early Dragonball, but this is primarily characters just from Dragonball on it, so whatever.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Friend from up in the mountains came down to visit this weekend, so we celebrated by going SHOPPING!

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII- Said friend got me playing FF7 again, so I impulsively picked up the PSP prequel to compliment that. Fun, hopefully.
One Piece Season 1 Third Voyage DVD- Been waiting to see this pop up at Best Buy for a while to no avail, only to end up finding it at Borders of all places. Victory! Now to try and find that FullMetal Alchemist Season 1 DVD! Buddy of mine here says he saw it at Target. The hell?

I am fully behind the idea of Dom having a "beast" alter ago that drives him to customize, especially if that alter ego is out of control.
