I have new boxer shorts. With Space Invaders on them. I am a sucker for all things deliciously awesome.

It's my lucky day! Nabbed Cyclonus. He's Cyclonusy! His back wings can also be posed in ways 'different' from how everyone is doing them by default, and I like that. Not especially fond of only giving him 'one' pegholed fist, but hey, I'll run with it. Innerestingly enough, there's a peg and slot that enables him to have Nightstick (or whoever the hell you want him to be, considering the history of Nightsticks) to "replace" his hand not unlike the Japanese Targetmasters. This is despite TM Cyclonus not existing over there! Nightstick's handle is also a Powerlinx peg, which is funny to me.

Found Cheetor at Wal-Mart for $7.77, so I broke down and got him. Aaaaaalmost wish I hadn't. Now, I have a history of liking the less-acclaimed Universe figures (I loved Octane, and I even liked Galvatron more than most), but wow Cheetor disappoints on a lot of levels. Thing is, his Beast mode is actually really good. There're some stability issues around the midsection, but otherwise it's a really nice-looking, poseable cheetah mode. Robot mode is where everything goes to hell. His shoulders are too close together, he can't straighten his elbows all the way (and his arms are too short anyway), his legs are too long with too many joints, he's got a ridiculous tumor of a backpack, his head looks bad and is cluttered with badly arranged kibble, his weapons suck argh argh argh!! He's staying in his kickass Beast Mode as far as I'm concerned. Better luck next time.

...as luck would have it, that "next time" would turn out to be finding the TFA Jetfire/Jetstorm pack on the shelf below him at the same Wal-Mart! Now THESE guys are well done! Robot modes are a delight, fiddly as all get out, though I wish their shoulders were positioned a touch higher. Jet modes are a'ight, better than others have said but not by much. Combined jet mode is a write-off. Transformation into Safeguard is nuts, but in a good way, and the resulting robot is really cool, though it could have benefited from a couple more joints on the upper arms. Still, these guys are really fun, and they compliment each other quite well. Dig the heads, and the use of clear plastic. Get these guys, not Cheetor.

Found Hound at K-Mart. Was willing to pay the $11 for it, because Wal-Mart didn't have him and I didn't feel like waiting until whenever they get him in. Whatever, I've got him now.

I also took a video of it! And some other stuff:

(Note: May not work right away seeing as I just uploaded it ten seconds ago. And watch in high quality if available! Seriously, it looks shitty otherwise.)

A video review? Uh, well, as moderator, I have to represent the sentiment of my constituents, and put a stop to this.

I snagged "JLA: Earth 2" to compliment the SG thread.

I've officially fallen off the 'no new Robot Heroes' wagon. :) Bought Blaster and Thrust today.
