As someone who has had his stuff stolen: It sucks ass. If at all possible, in the future, contact Fedex/UPS and have them hold the package at a receiving center, and go pick it up.

Yeah but that's a pain in the ass too, mostly because my closest FedEx place is like a half hour drive away and not open when I get off work, meaning I have to go in on a Saturday. Screw it, I'm just gonna have everything shipped to me at work. At least that way I'll be there to get it. And it's a secure building.Onslaught Six wrote:As someone who has had his stuff stolen: It sucks ass. Combiner Wars Optimus Prime and Silverbolt. Apparently thieves in my area only like to steal from FedEx. Anyway, reviews in the appropriate thread.

*Looks distantly at the 'February 2015' release date on the Silverbolt/Motormaster pre-order*Shockwave wrote:Combiner Wars Optimus Prime and Silverbolt.
*Single tear*
I just know it means I'm going to be seeing PILES of Silverbolt on my local store shelves now for the next month and a half. I'll walk into the aisle and they'll just all collapse on top of me. I'll be running over them in the street. They'll be at the 7-11, next to the Slurpee machine!

*Crashes through a stack of Combiner Wars Silverbolt boxes the same way kids in 90's action figure commercials would crash them through those clear plastic cube things*

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Amazon's crazy. I ordered mine on Thursday night with the Prime 2-day shipping and the site says they'll be here Tuesday. On one hand, it's not like I'm that impatient about it, but on the other, the hell is two-day shipping for?

Complain, maybe you'll get a few bucks or free MP3s. It's likely with the weekend coming you don't have a delivery company close enough to distribution that will do Saturdays or Sundays. Kinda lame though, should be a Monday delivery.138 Scourge wrote:Amazon's crazy. I ordered mine on Thursday night with the Prime 2-day shipping and the site says they'll be here Tuesday. Mine showed up a day early via USPS smartpost, which is downright shocking.

Re: January 2015 Hauls!
I contacted their customer service to ask what was up. The first person I talked to via chat just disconnected in mid-conversation but then emailed me saying "I've requested a 27 dollar refund on your Prime membership. Okay, cool, but it was the free trial. All right, I thonk, whatever. I talk to a second customer service person on chat just to make sure the toys are, in fact, heading my way eventually. This one says "Sure, everything's fine, sometimes two-day shipping just takes five days" and then emails me saying not to ask for a refund yet.
I did not ask for a refund at all, I just wanted to make sure my stuff was going to be shipped.
So in conclusion, Amazon is crazy.
