I don't think Takara/Hasbro would make exceptions for the MP TF toy line just because it's a higher priced or more elite fan centered toy line. These MP TF's cost a lot more money & time to create might as well milk the molds with as much toy characters as possible to justify the exspenses & time put into this line. Creating MP toys for Deadend & Breakdown using the MP TF Jazz & MP Sideswipe molds make sense. as the stunticons are highly desired toys in the fandom. It doesn't make sense to create newer MP TF molds for deadend & Breakdown to please the more OCD/hard core extremist fans because they are so low in number & a dying breed. Most TF fans wouldn't care.
Those are just Botcon and Fan Club toys, they are afterthoughts for a tiny secondary market, not Masterpiece. Not even remotely the same thing.

Takara will care because A) they care about fine details; and B) they know that they are going to drive away a lot of customers who only buy these overpriced trinkets due to accuracy.

Takara doesn't care about fine details like some/most on-line TF fans think they do. If they did,we would have never got the Alternators/BT/Alternity toy line that gave most of the Iconic characters liscense cars modes & robot modes that looked nothing like the 1980's G-1 TF toys designs. At the time takara labeled these toys high end, almost MP style TF toys aimed at hard core collectors.

If Takara cared about the FINE details they would have created Classics/Generation TF toys in the proper size scales. Due to some 2.0 TF toys( powerglide, onslaught, silverbolt) being over sized this caused some 2.0 toys (Galvatron,Cyclonus,) that deserved the bigger toys get the smaller sized toys. Classics/Generations are TF toy lines aimed towards the old school fans & Yet Takara/Hasbro gets these toys wrong more than they do right.

If Takara cared about the FINE details then why does almost every new soundwave toy get recolored into blaster. Why does almost every new bumblebee toy get recolored into cliffjumper. This smells of laziness coupled with who cares & a bit of cheapness thrown in.

I'd love to come back in this thread after Takara/Hasbro creates MP TF toys for Breakdown using the MP Lambor mold & for Dedend using the MP Jazz mold & say something like,"You guys were wrong,Takara doesn't care about the fine details." YEAH SPARKY WILL PROBABLY MIS-READ EVERYTHING LIKE HE ALWAYS DOES,SAY SOMETHING LIKE YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT,THEN CREATE NUMEROUS THREADS REPEATING HIS MESSAGE & DISTORTING OTHER/MY MEMBERS FACTS.

Those are all MAIN RELEASE TOYS, or FANCLUB TOYS which ARE NOT DECIDED UPON BY HASBRO OR TAKARA, AT ALL, EVER, PERIOD. There has never been an example of a shitty churned out inaccurate Masterpiece repaint. Never. Period.

Stop perpetuating this fucking bullshit.

The Alternators/Binaltech/Alternity line wasn't supposed to look exactly like the 1980's toy designs. They were supposed to be extremely detailed versions of real modern day cars that transform into G1 characters. And granted some of them, Decepticons in-particular, looks very little like the G1 counterparts but the Binaltech story explains those bodies as being stolen from the Autobots before their spark's could be transferred. The line(s) itself still had a great deal of care put into the details.

Those are mass-produced toy lines. It's a whole lot different for those lines than it is for the Masterpiece toyline.

You have got to be kidding me with this. Now you're just singling me out and personally attacking me completely out of context. None of that is true. Show me one time I've actually mis-read one of your posts, because I doubt that's ever happened. And of course I'm going say "I didn't say that" when I've been completely mis-quoted by someone. That's the main reason I've had to repeat myself so many times with you in the first place, and I am not the only one that's had to do that, nor have I ever made a new thread to repeat a point. It certainly wasn't me who was distorting facts and then accusing people of trolling and flame baiting when several people pointed out those errors. So stop FALSELY accusing me of this crap.

It's not only me you do this to. Other members here have also said you do the same exact thing to them. points to the current "Terminator movies makes no sense thread." viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1317

Points towards the weird & ugly MP Blue & Black Rodimus Prime. The colors seem to be inspired by the Titanium 6 inch SDCC Menasor toy which was a repaint using the Titanium 6 inch Rodimus toy. Yeah Takara probably called it Nemesis Rodimus or something similar but it still had similar colors to Titanium 6 inch SDCC Menasor's toy, which were awful to begin with.

Somehow I doubt you have actually read through all of those posts of that topic for yourself, or are actually giving it a fair evaluation given your obvious, and unfounded bias towards me. If you had, you'd see that's not what's happening there at all. That topic is not something that's in my control as I am not the one who is distorting the points as you claim. I mean, I have always explained how and why I feel that my points have been mis-represented, while trying to make my own arguments as clear as I can. I'm certainly not just leaving it at 'that's not what I said'. And at times, I have even been pretty blatantly mis-quoted there. And if you notice, Dom I saw recently had commented to Jedi, in that same topic, that he hadn't said something that Jedi had suggested he had, meaning it isn't only me that has had that issue either. So no, just you're trying to pin something on me that isn't on me, and you are only causing trouble by bringing that topic into this one. There was absolutely no reason for it.

That was actually an e-Hobby exclusive figure and it was an evil clone of Rodimus simply called Black Rodimus Convoy. I don't think it was necessarily meant to look like Titanium Menasor, seeing as e-Hobby is kinda famous for doing 'evil clone' black repaints like that, among others.

It was based on this.

Even so: That was a Rodimus repaint. There aren't exactly a lot of places you can go with that toy besides "Black Repaint."

I can't tell if you're taking drugs and need to stop, or if you aren't taking meds and need to start. This argument ignores the fact that Alternity has NOTHING TO DO WITH G1 ALTMODES, and that a different business model was in play for Binaltech and its offshoots where Japanese consumers weren't buying Decepticons in enough numbers to justify their own unique molds.

That is a mainstream line with different limitations and needs. And some of those are Hasbro choices. And how are Onslaught and Silverbolt "oversized"? They are larger characters and larger vehicles, not everything is about sucking G1's cock in every single possible way. Yeah, Powerglide's not a minibot, these things happen from time to time, it's an interesting expression none the less.
If Takara cared about the FINE details then why does almost every new soundwave toy get recolored into blaster. Why does almost every new bumblebee toy get recolored into cliffjumper. This smells of laziness coupled with who cares & a bit of cheapness thrown in.
Because Hasbro and Takara agree that Blaster and Cliffjumper don't matter enough to get their own molds, and because THOSE AREN'T MASTERPIECE.

What the fuck are you on about? Seriously, you need to think about what you're posting before it gets put into the system. That was angry insane nonsense.

If Takara/Hasbro creates a MP Toy for Jazz,I don't think they'll do a G-2 Jazz colored toy. Because all that G-2 Jazz toy had was different factory applied stickers & different stickers on the sticker sheet. with ofcause ugly over sized G-2 newer weapons.

Breakdown & Deadend are more fan favorites & less obsecure characters,So anything is possible.
