List some TF toys you like that most Fans don't like.

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

So that's it, nobody else likes any esoteric recent TFs? I can't think of one, that's for sure. For some reason, I keep thinking of Cybertron Landmine and yet not only is that figure not recent, it's not disliked, AND I don't actually like it that much.

I was actually pretty fond of all the ROTF Constructicons, despite their random amounts of hate. Rampage, I thought, was very solid in his "crab" mode, and Mixmaster might've been a mess but if you arranged him just right and treated him like some monkey Cloverfield monster, he was great. For a long time, I had him climbing all over my ROTF Leader Prime. In fact, I have a picture!

I was really fond of Universe Heavy Load, the Cybertron Mixmaster repaint. The colour scheme was way better, he had a neat character, and he was really underutilized. Not a lot of people seemed to get excited over Generations Scourge, but I loved that toy. In fact, I also thought RTS G2 Prime was a great toy, too--lots of people complained about him.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

I liked & bought the Botcon Deathsaras toy,Apparently the majority didn't like it that much. As the boxed set & individual baggie packed Deathsaras toy took 3 years to sell out on the TFCC site.

Ha, I used to like trying to Frankenstein my own custom Devastator with those. I even had a foot mode for Rampage and Mixmaster and "pants" mode for long haul. The torso wound up being the hard part.

Wait, Generations Scourge wasn't well liked? Cause I like it.

The RID Megatron repaint/remold? I love that mold. Also, in bat mode, it makes a good TF Halloween decoration.

Who doesn't like that Generations Scourge mold? I haven't met any complaints on the whole of that figure.

What is this, list figures most fans like? I like Optimus Prime! There, I said it, I'm taking a stand.

I love the Generations Scourge mold,Love the Classics 2.0 Cyclonus toy,Love the 2.0 Glavatron toy. I just wish all three molds were $27 USA Ultra Sized or at least Voyagers sized TF toys. These three toys needed to be bigger because they all had high ranking command positions. All three Characters also had big sized 1980's TF toys & Big sized Media designs compared to others TF characters toys from the 1980's.

At the time those guys were coming out, that line's Voyager and Ultra lines were in the process of failing, so I feel like if they hadn't been made in deluxe they wouldn't have been made at all. We do know that Galvatron was planned to be larger originally, so it definitely was a chose of something over nothing there.

It seemed like Scourge wasn't really getting talked about a lot? Most people seemed to focus on Wheeljack, Kup or Thundercracker.

The 2.0 line had characters in the wrong toy size scale. Onslaught should have been a deluxe so Galvatron could be a Ultra. Silverbolt should have been a deluxe so Cyclonus could have been a Ultra. Powerglide should have been a basic or deluxe so octane/tankor could be a ultra.

Generations & RTS seemed like the same line only with different names to fool retailers into over ordering RTS toys in hopes it was tied to the movie-verse. I would have preferred Generations Thunderwing & Scourge been released under the RTS line,so they could have been Voyager sized toys.

I'm pretty sure I had to have raved about Generations Scourge when he came out. If not, then fuck yeah, Scourge was awesome.

Do people like FoC Shockwave? I've seen complaints about his size that are totally justified, but despite that, I still thought it was a pretty cool toy in its way.

And, of course, Backstop. Should I mention Backstop?
