Argh.

My name is Onslaught Six, and I'm a toyaholic.

Stopped at a Wal-Mart for absoloutely no good reason on the way home from the girlfriend's today. This is the localish one in Ebensberg. Usually they don't have Anything, but they've been Really Good about getting new crap in lately. Because they also had Classics Deluxes.

I caved and bought Sunstreaker and OcTankor. There was only one of the latter. Also passed on AniSlag, AniSounds and Oil Slick, because, well, they're gonna be there later. (Still dunno if I want Oil Slick or not.)

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Well, Oil Slick's a motorcycle with a goat's skull mounted on the front that transforms into a robot wielding the ends of a beer keg as morningstar-type things. He's like something the boys in Deathklok would want to drive. So, maybe that helps.

Of course, I passed on Oil Slick to get Sunstreaker, so he's clearly not my first priority, either.

Oilslick can drink out of the beer kegs. Even though his head is in a jar. He's like a Dethklok even more because he's an alcoholic.

Oh, dude. I just realized why he wears the jar on his head...and what it's filled with....

It's likely not gonna happen, but how cool would it be if Brendon Smalls VA'd Oilslick if he appears in the show?

See that's the thing with Oil Slick: His design certainly appeals, and I hear his toy is good enough, but...he wasn't in the show. And the Animated guys have *really* been selling themselves to me based on the merits of their show appearances. Of course, there's the possibility that that I'll get him and love his toy, then he'll appear in the show, be awesome, and I'll love him even MORE! So yeah, that's probably how it's going to go...

What's so unlikely about a voice actor associated with Cartoon Network appearing in another one of their shows? And yes, it would be insanely awesome. Which member of the band should he channel? I vote for Pickles, just on the basis of the alcoholism...

Oil Slick EXPLOSION. Yess.

He's non-show for now, but 'will' be in the comics. I want him because he's one of the most metal-themed TFs ever, and has fantastic clawy hands. Plus the jagged barrel on a chain gig, that's pretty swish. He can form a band with Lockdown and Soundwave.

Well...it seems unlikely because it's perfect? Pickles or Swiskgard would work...or, Nathan if he was all like "Now, Autobot, I'll show you what you most FEEAARRR!!!" and like that, but was actually not terribly powerful outside of his weapons...

Oh, yeah...said weapon is pretty awesome. Combination corrosive acid/fear toxin? Cripes, that's great.

Annnnd we've gone wwwayy the hell off-topic. Ah, yeah...this place is just like home.

KYB GR-2 rear gas strut x2 - for my Mazda MX6. Now it's totally pimpin', new struts in front and back.

Dane-Elec Universal Portable Memory 1gb - this thing is so cool I had to buy it when I saw it at Target. It's a micro-SD card, which my phone takes, that comes with a Mini-SD adapter, an SD adapter, and best of all, a USB adapter making it a 1gb tiny in-port flash drive. And it was $10!

Iron Man Iron Monger v2 - Dom sent this to me as I had been looking and Dom is cool. The figure is pretty rad, nicer sculpting and articulation and color than v1, I even like the reveal gimmick. This one has the Hasbro QC curse of Dom though, the left wrist is screwy due to a large chunk of flash that didn't get cut out of the hand, leading to incorrect assembly. Still, quite nifty.

I disagree about IM. I prefer the MKI Iron Monger toy. But, hey, glad somebody enjoys it. (That reveal gimmick, and the proportions, weird me out.)

I got a second Sunstreaker. My first one had some QC issues, and I needed an extra for conversion projects. (More on thsi later.)
