Ok, but only because you asked for it, though, it sounds like you're admitting AHM was bad fiction.Dominic wrote:Did you bother to read the AHM thread? I praise the hell out of that. (Sparky, I expect a smart-@$$ remark about me claiming to not praise middling to bad fiction.)

While on the subject, this reminds me of a thread at TFW I saw the other day... A poster was asking what Megatron's plot was in AHM. Several appeared to not know the answer. I'd say I was surprised by that, but honestly, I have to say I can see how they could have missed it. It was never made very clear throughout the story (or made a whole lot of sense), with only a very brief description to Starscream near the end. Just another thing that goes to show AHM was poorly written.
This is just honestly something I cannot understand about you Dom. I mean you're basically saying here that you don't like fiction in general because it's fictional. You're missing the whole point to reading a fictional piece if your only interest is insights into something else within the story.I see little point in reading about fiction characters doing fiction things that have no bearing on anything. If a writer can show insight about something else while writing about big robots, then I am more interested.
