Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop, by Kyuss. I dunno what that's supposed to mean, but Kyuss are great and space rock-tastic. Like them considerably more than QOTSA.

Whether it be Kyuss or Queens, sometimes it's just best to assume that Josh Homme knows what he's talking about and call it good.

Knights of Cydonia, by Muse. I keep meaning to listen to more from them, but I never do.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Hypoxia, by Velvet Acid Christ. I've spent the entire evening listening to them. Love VAC so much.

Welcome To Dying by Onslaught. The '89 album In Search Of Sanity is some really good thrash with decent if generic vocals over most of it.

Onslaught's lyrics are generally kickass. While they're, yeah, Thrash Metal Lyrics, they tend to at least be very wordy and technical. Or maybe I just haven't heard enough thrash lyrics. The biggest problem with the In Search Of Sanity album is that, for whatever reason, nobody told them they should write short songs--a bunch of them are six or seven minutes long, and while it's not Load-era Metallica padding-out level, it's still kind of annoying. Welcome To Dying here is twelve minutes long.

Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell - Iggy & the Stooges, Iggy Pop remastered version. I know this is punk blasphemy, but I truly think Iggy Pop's recent remixing of this album turns an unlistenable mess into a true proto-punk masterpiece.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Heh. Shocking! You're not cool enough to hang out with the kids who consider safety pins a fashion statement now.

(Come to think, I have safety pins all down my Jagermeister bag..but they're holding the thing together)

I've got The Becoming, by NIN, on a brand new spiffy copy of The Downward Spiral. I lost my old one. Sucky.

Wait, you 'lost' it? Stupid.

I've got...some track from Danzig 5, which is Danzig's industrial album. And it's...pretty shitty, all-told. There's one track that really grabbed me, Sacrifice, but so far the rest of it sucks.

Danzig 5 has it's moments. It's no Danzig II, though, I'll tell you that for free.

"J" by Reggie and the Full Effect. It's a transformer of a song, during the second chorus it changes from go-go-kinda pop tune to screaming death metal and back.
