Originally I was pissy about that too, but what we know of the line means he would've been an Ultra instead.

And that means we'd have gotten Ultra Galvatron instead of Onslaught.

I'll take Tiny Galvy. Besiding that, if this is the design they'd have used, I wouldn't be able to justify buying it like I did today. His legs just look awful.

I would hope that if they'd had done him in a larger size, his legs wouldn't look like they do. Again I don't really have a problem with them, but a bigger mold probably could have addressed that issue a little better.

As far as not getting an Onslaught if they had gone Galv in Ultra size, they probably could have put them both out. But for what he is, I'm really not too dissapointed in him.

It's his thighs that do it, and the fact that...well, it's a lot like Titanium Supah Fiyah, actually. He's got these kneepads that you'd expect to pop out more and be recognizable, but they've got boxy kibbly portions surrounding them and it looks...well, shitty.

He's alright, though. Not horrible. Mine was $7 and change, and he's worth that, at least. Although now that I'm getting paid because of the Job and stuff, well...I'm far less discriminatory.

The legs do have a lot to answer for. Galvy has Megathigh syndrome, of the kind seen on BM Mirage and God Magnus, The main problem is that the lower parts of his shins stick out more than the upper parts, which gives him an oddly layered and broken look. That and the back kibble. Headsculpt and right arm are cool.

- Acid Storm: The Seeker mould, well, everyone has it by now.

This recolour was apparently done by Archer, which is a rarity these days as he's the brand manager. While it's intended to be the lime green Seeker from assorted G1 appearances, it doesn't look a lot like him, having a brand new deco, weird mix. Vehicle mode is some kind of cross between an efluent run-off and forest camo, quite how forest camo works in the sky I'm unsure. Expect it's meant to be corrosion from his acid rain ability - speaking of, I love that he 'has an ability'. That defined so many G1 characters, and now it defines Acid Storm. Yay.

Robot mode makes a big switch to a more hazmat style with the yellow and the black, and that's what makes the robot mode work, it looks really different from the vehicle and somehow pretty cohesive. ClaSeeker mould is generic as-is so fits nicely with sorta-new characters. Some minor mould wear, nothing terrible, slightly off joint tolerances and obvious injection moulding and sprue clipping. Plastics get bonus points for casting the thighs in a different colour from the rest of the legs, a first with this mould. Worth buying if you dig Seeker armies, obscure G1 characters, and the ClaSeeker mould. Surprisingly above average.

The funny thing about Hasbro though is that anytime a new decent seeker mold from any line is released, most fans always ask for a Sunstorm re-paint and we end up getting something else. Now that we have Acid Storm, maybe they'll get around to doing a Sunstorm for the classics line eventually.

Given that Acid Storm's another character from the same group as Sunstorm, I'm more than happy with him in Sunstorm's stead. Dare say the creamsicle colour didn't fit with Universe's 'realism' precedent. I'm somewhat indifferent to Sunstorm as a toy and loathe him as a character, so it's much of a muchness to me.

I mean, I'd not say no, but I'd not jump for joy either.

No, Sunstorm is supposed to be from MTMTE part 1. He's in the same scene as Wasteland.
