Again, that's unconfirmed. We know he got hurt but that doesn't really explain anything and as such we don't know if that's actually the reason he is now different.

He's one way. Then he gets hurt. Now he's totally different.
Is...I don't....What part of the logic are you not seeing?
You wanted them to explain it, and they explained it, and now you're still not satisfied. I'm starting to think you just have a grudge against AHM.

That's the thing... They didn't explain it. Yes, he got hurt, but they have not said that's the reason he's different now.

Which post? I can remove it for you.
I think it is pretty clearly implied that Perceptor is "different" because of the injuries he received in "Spotlight: Drift". It all comes down to how much time we want to spend reading point by point summaries of what happenes to every bit-player.
More important that *what* happened to Perceptor is *why* it happened. Why bother to make Perceptor a sharp-shooter in the first place? It is not like the franchise is exactly hurting for guys with scads of fire-power.

It's going along with one of AHM's general themes, that War Changes Everything, and not necessarily for the better. That's the impression I got.

You might be on to something.

I don't think it was clear at all. We've seen Transformers thoroughly slagged and put back together just like new before. Why would Perceptor be any different?

Because Unicron is enormous.
And because different writers treat the mortality of Transformers in different ways. Nobody set up specific rules for this kind of thing. Nobody ever came out and said, "This is what can happen to a Transformer before they die, and how traumatic events are, and all these other things." And the nature of the beast makes that unlikely to ever happen.
AHM's story asks you to accept that Perceptor got beaten down, he got rebuilt, and it's been a bad experience and that's why he's different now. It's better than some of the *other* explanations for random character changes we've got before. ("Hey! I'm Beast Wars Megatron. I hate organics now. I do not know why, I just do, accept it and move on." And this is me criticizing BM. I *like* BM.)
Whatever. I don't even care anymore, I just want to see Issue 10.

I'd prefer that the writers actually explain what's going on in the stories.
