Decepticharge is a great toy with a goofy name. I just wish we knew something about him. You'd think for a collector-oriented line that Hasbro would be double-sure to include bios, since the long-time fans remember those so well. With just about all the other characters we can at least look at the original specs or the fiction to learn about the character, but with Decepticharge we got nada. :(

I guess VW is sensitive about that whole "incorporated by the Nazis" thing.

I just assumed Decepticharge was a Decepticon deserter, as he is unarmed. Of course, if he is caught by either faction, he is in real trouble.

-no, really, that is how VW started.

But surely TF needs a transsexual more than a Terrorist?

Yep, capital T. The whole WORD is in capitals on his original bio, of course. Much scarier.

Well, when you put it that way...

Man, Silverbolt's in for a shock.

Wildrider would have made more sense to me. At least then we'd have an established identity for the character.

EDIT: I meant DRAGSTRIP of course, not Wildrider. Dragstrip was a yellow racecar, just like Decepticharge. That would have made more sense. In fact, when we first heard that the line would include Decepticons, I assumed that the ones who already had auto modes would be in the front of the queue, so I had expected all the Stunticons to make an appearance.

Ehh, I was just going for the whole Black-Widow-in-Japan thing, y'know... But I guess, yes, Wildrider IS a car already. Didn't stop Grimlock though, did it? =p

I guess I should have read more of the Binaltech fiction... I might have known that.

True, and it didn't stop Shockwave either. :)

I made sure to buy every "mold", i.e. different car in this situation. I don't have Tracks, but I have Battle Ravage, etc. I really went for the version of the mold that appealed to me, or both if I really like the mold. I had no problem with the goofy-ass shit like Decipticharge, his one-note-ness just adds to his appeal to me.

And the Binaltech versions of each one are really quite better. Which is why I held off on Tracks for the longest time, was looking for a good deal on the BT version. Though now I'm really quite fucked.
