selling off my collection

Buying and trading on the open robot market! Optimus Prime might call this slavery, but he's never had to track down Energon Ultra Magnus before.

Re: selling off my collection

Post by Dominic »

I am trying to avoid posting a long list and constantly revising it. My plan is to sell a large chunk of my collection by November or so. I am just giving you guys, and the fine folks at CA, a chance to pick up items you all may want before I sell a pile of toys to Robozone as a lot. One guy at CA asked about specific Joes. Now I know to look for those specific figures.

I am just trying to avoid having someone mention that they want something, and me realizing I have already sold it. I am selling pretty much all of my movie stuff. (I am holding on to the UT/TFU recolours. But, most everything else is going.) The sheer number of figures (TF, GI Joe, SW) I am chucking makes it a good bet to just ask about something.

You like Gundams? You like Gundam Wing? I am planning to toss some old model kits. How about BW Neo Heinrad? I am pretty sure the clock still works.

I suppose you're right. I'll run through some lists on the Wiki and see if I can come up with anything.

Just got a message about Heinrad. Consider that item off the table.

Well, you presumably have some stuff out in piles or boxes, right? Just take some pictures. "Here's a box! See anything good?"

Hell, then I at least feed my addiction to picking out random TFs in pictures. 86 would show me lots from TradeMe all the time, not even for stuff he was interested in, just to figure out who all was in it.

I cannot post pics now, as noted in my blog.

And, like I said, the whole point of this is to give my friends a chance to ask about items they may want. Objectively, I would be better off just bundling everything up. But, I am willing to add this extra step for you guys.

Yeah what the hell why didn't I say anything from RID. Maybe because I'm convinced you'd want to keep that stuff.

I still need the trains, and 2/3rds of the complete Cario Bros. (Regular Speedbreaker, Super X-Brawn, both variants of Mach Alert), the Predastooges, Obsidian, some of the Spychangers, muhh...Other guys...

ShockTrek, you mean to tell me you never got Fire Convoy nor God Magnus? I'm surprised. It's almost enough to make me trade you my Costco repaint set.

Onslaught, I have blue Speedbreaker. Which Spychangers do you need?

Trekkie, I have Wheelie. Which Ruination are you looking for?

Anderson, Cosmos and Warpath, right?

Email/call me for details.

Y'know, whichever, I'm not picky. 1st choice would be the first version US one, but again, not picky. I had all of them when they came out, but had to sell them over the years and just never reacquired them. This goes for the convoys too.
