Re: October Hauls
Went literally everywhere last night.
-ROTF Dirge! There was a pile of $10 off coupons at TRU that expire on the 15th, so I'll be coming back to get me some cheap box set guys. Because I want that damn Soundwave and red Rampage. But yeah, Dirge! Missed him earlier so I'm glad I nabbed him.
-Yellow-box Banzai-Tron! Because I have this big dumb dream of having Action Masters hang out together.
-Generations Darkmount/Straxus! Woo! His bubble was crushed, but there were other guys who were, too, so I'm thinking it was a crushed case. It was the only one there, so, gotta have him.
-Yellow-box Hailstorm! Hell yeah.

Re: October Hauls
Went to Target, nabbed Hailstorm, Tracker hound and Star Wars Sidious and Anakin foil versions. Appparently I'm collecting these now. Haven't done this since I got burned during that whole E1 .000/.001/.002 card crap.
Re: October Hauls
What? There is a Hound repaint? Damn. I could use another copy of that mould for customizing.

I think it's the Legends version that's been repainted.Dominic wrote:What? There is a Hound repaint? Damn. I could use another copy of that mould for customizing.

Yep, it's the legends one. And in looking at my last post, I totally forgot to mention that. Damn.andersonh1 wrote:I think it's the Legends version that's been repainted.Dominic wrote:What? There is a Hound repaint? Damn. I could use another copy of that mould for customizing.

Re: October Hauls
Today's comics: Transformers #12 and Green Lantern #59. I also noticed that IDW has put together a trade paperback collection of volume 1 of Dreamwave's More Than Meets the Eye character profile series. Looks like the first half of that series, or issues 1-4. Even if the continuity isn't applicable, that's still a nice reference guide for all the G1 characters.
Re: October Hauls
Foil carded Clone Commander Cody and Magna Guard. I'm going for Fett. Rocket style.
Re: October Hauls
A new job! Working at EA here in Austin, not actually working on videogames. It looks like I'll be writing FAQs and overviews and stuff... who knows what else? But it's a huge dork office, everyone has toys on their desk and they gave me a nerf gun to defend myself with. I feel like having a desk covered in transformers would be redundant, maybe I should go for kitty calendars or a zen theme instead to throw them off.
Seriously though, it's weird to have a cubicle, especially in this office. I'm one of the youngest people there and I dress more "adult" than most of them (leather shoes, jacket, tie sometimes), so I don't know how to portray myself yet. We'll see.

Nice! I'd love to work at a job in the games industry, even if it sucked. I'd find the fun in it.

Re: October Hauls
I used to have a cubicle. Now they've put us all in half-cubicles, with walls that are only about four feet high, so we can all see across the room. On the negative side, my personal space is pretty much gone. But on the positive side, I can always see the boss coming.donosaur wrote:Seriously though, it's weird to have a cubicle, especially in this office.
