Megan Fox not in 3. Thoughts?

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

He could have got her into a local school and/or gotten her father start-up money to hire somebody else at the shop. As I said, even Leo demonstrated that he knew enough to do that.
This is assuming Mikaela would let him. My girlfriend was looking into buying a car a while back, and I offered to help pay, and she was very adamant about me not doing so, because it's her car and her decision, not mine.

True enough. But, either way, Sam is a whiny little kid in the second movie. I can totally see somebody bailing on him.

That's true. Mikaela came across as the stronger and more capable character, by far.

Yeah... it's not like we're going to see the movies for the human characters anyway.
For the record, I rather liked Sam in the first movie. He was funny and entertaining and so forth. He did turn a bit whiny and worthless in the second movie though, although I suspect that hordes of giant robots trying to kill you for the second year in a row might do that to a guy. Anyway, as long as he's in Movie 3, I'll likely be happy.

Isn't it implied that it's been two years? If Sam is sixteen in 2007 (which is, I think, kind of implied) then he'd be eighteen in 2009.

So did I. He really carried the first half of the film, and did it well. But it's still a fact that I went to see the movie to see the Transformers, not the human characters. Admittedly, I liked the characters enough that I looked forward to their return in 2, and for the upcoming third movie as well. But they're still not the reason I'm watching the movies.

Speaking on this note, I really don't like the direction they took Epps in in the second film. He barely showed up, and when he did, he was really cynical and disbelieving. Perhaps Epps witnessing the TFs has shook his faith in mysticism or somesuch (his line about "If God made us, who made him?" makes me wonder if he's changed his opinion on his religion or something, though we never really see before that if Epps is religious) and he *really* doesn't believe in Sam, despite the fact that he knows Sam killed Megatron (although, well, fat lot of good that did, right?) and has technology that the humans don't readily understand. I dunno, I just expect Epps to have more faith than he seems to--but it could be lazy writing.

Some of the humans did provide some of the best bits in the movie, though. ONE MAN! ALONE! BETRAYED BY HIS COUNTRY!

I really hate Simmons. He adds nothing to the story that a non-stunty would not add.

Epps was written as vaguely autistic in both movies. He spouts off border-line redundant lines about the blantantly obvious. ("That F22 was not friendly, as evidenced by the fact it flew below the buildings while it shot at us." Brilliant observation you fucking idiot. Of course, one could argue he was just explaing it to Lennox, who was apparently even slower to figure things like that out.)

The real problem with human characters in TF is that they are used for time-waster gags and filler. They add less to the movie than such people would add in real life.

I'm not a fan of the live action TF movies. because the stories & plots are so awful. also the humans get way too much persona. while the transformers get almost no persona.

The only reason I like to watch these live action TF movies is as follows: the ground breaking awesome CGI robots. megan fox which looks amazing on film.

I'd imagine without megan fox in the TF3 movie. the theathre sales will be 20% less than they should be.
