Hmm, I bought the ROTF Lockdown figure mostly because of his Animated counterpart, but by then Wal-Mart and Target started pulling the Animated toy line off their shelves, so I had to settle for ROTF Lockdown. Luckily the toy was great enough that I felt that he was completely worth it. I don't regret getting this guy: his creepy eyes and hook are just awesome, and he's the tallest figure of the bunch that I have so far. A solid hook would have been brilliant-- but also would be a safety hazard for kids, considering they might try it on each others' eyes.
He tends to lose his EMP while in his alt mode, but that's most likely because it's a free-standing mod and doesn't have some kind of restraint to hold it down. There is an issue with his arms popping out of their sockets. I've had to strengthen the ball-and-socket joints with some sticky note paper, since installing wiring would have prevented fluid movement. Still, it can't be worse than the Scalpel figure.

I did some searching, and I suppose that Lockdown's ROTF figure most closely resembles a heavily modified 1980 Corvette coupe.andersonh1 wrote:The car resembles no real-world model that I'm aware of.
