Picked up GI Joe Movie Crimson Neo-Viper, Cobra Royal Guard, because there's no doubt in my mind which character this is supposed to represent in Movie form. Also, it looks pretty friggin' awesome. The metallic red paint looks really nice. He also comes with a metric asston of accessories. Seriously, a little pistol, a machete (or possibly Sweeny Todd razor), a rifle with a bayonet (reinforcing the Crimson Guard connection), his long spear/hook thing, two hatchets, the requisite stupidly huge missile launcher, and a friggin' coral snake in a box! Why? Because even with all the hardware he already comes with, one should never underestimate the offensive potential of just chucking a snake at one's enemy. Seriously though, the hatchets are probably my favorites, he looks badass weilding both of them. The pistol and machete are pretty cool too. The missile launcher is just as retarded as the one that came with Cobra Commander, and the ones that come with all the other figures. Seriously, I frickin' hate these things. All they're doing is driving up the price. But even at that, the Crimson Neo-Viper is awesome. T'will probably be the only other Movie figure I get too, at least just for the figure (I'm currently considering getting Cover Girl and Baroness so I can pop Cover Girl's head onto Baroness' body and paint it up as a Misha to go with my Kicker. Except that would require trying to paint yellow on top of black, something that would be several levels of no fun).
Oh, and Dom, I've seen Agent Helix a few times, and I hardly see what's so bad about her. I mean, I know my threshold for perviness is a bit higher than yours, but still, I can see nothing wrong with that figure.
Oh hey, it's been a bit since I bought manga, hasn't it?
Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally vol. 1- Like the concept on this one, and there's no way it can be as bad as the regular Code Geass manga, so hey.
Negima!? Neo vol. 2- I cannot believe I caved and bought this. I really am a whore for anything with 'Negima' on the cover. But...but this one has a sizeable KonoSetsu arc! Surely that's worth it?! No, I'm an idiot.

Agent Helix has a friggin' corset. I am sorry. That is just beyond reasonable for a "GI Joe" figure. (Yes, I know about the convention set a few years back, with the Cobra tart-brigade. But c'mon.
Oh, and last night, (thanks to BWProwl and Lewis Brooks),.................
ENERGON ULTRA MAGNUS
Dom
-yes, you read that right.

I want some of those Tart Brigade figures. My Cobra shelf's a big ol' sausage party, with just the Baroness to break up the all-male atmosphere.
As for Helix, hah! It's the corset that bothers you? That's awesome. After having a look at the figure the other day, I figured it was the fact that her ridiculously oversized gun that's
de rigeur for the movie line strongly resembles a truly disturbing marital aid.
Truly impressive haul, there, Dom. I thought Ultra Magnus was only a legend.

Ok, with so many referrences on this site, I have to ask: Is EnerMagnus as rare as Blue Bluestreak?

The corset, really? Man, not only is that barely offensive, it's hardly even apparent. I've seen the thing, and I thought it was just some oddly stylish belts or straps or something. So she's either offensive by the standards of the 1800s (Oh no! Are her ankles showing too?!) or she was designed by Takashi Nomura.
Anyway, got an Ebay box today. Contained
Cybertron Thundercracker,
Energon Perceptor, and
Energon Kicker. Perceptor's cool (though High Wire's a total mess in vehicle mode), Thundercracker's floppy and fragile in robot mode, and while this is a loose Kicker that doesn't include High Wire, the dude who owned him previously had gone in and painted all the details the original mold was missing. So he's got all the red, the shoulder details, and the foot details. Looks friggin' great. And now I've got two Kickers. Awesome.

Well, no, because Energon Ultra Magnus actually *exists* (please don't tell me you're one of those people who believes such things). Anyway, yeah, he's fairly rare, though I'm of the opinion that his rareness is a bit inflated to increase value (he was mainly difficult to come by in America, whereas he reportedly shelfwarmed in swarms over in Europe).

That's not true, because the Marvel 3 3/4" toys are the exact same price. And also, so are the Basics, oddly enough.
T'will probably be the only other Movie figure I get too, at least just for the figure
Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes, man. He looks so cool.
Also, pics of Resolute SE (with proper head and colouring and everything) have started to show up, so we'll probably see that come out eventually.

"Energon" Ultra Magnus is rare because it was (likely) a tail-ender from "Armada" that was folderinto "Energon".....about a month before Christmas. That wave may not have even been distributed nationally, as it was absorbed pre-Christmas by distribution centers in the middle and west of the US.
The corset is offensive for its sheer stupidity, along with the rest of Agent Helix being mind-blowingly stupid, more than anything else.

Supposedly, Hasbro realized that they put Energon Ultra Magnus out too close to not only a billion other repaints but also to the original figure from which it's repainted, so they limited production to less than a thousand units (I've consistently heard 800 across several sources).
Blue Bluestreak only exists as a prototype and a million customs.
At Comic-Con, I sat in on the tail end of the GI Joe panel that covered toys and then the new video game (sorry, but it looks like crap), and they gave out a GI Joe comic all about Agent Helix. 1) they wanted the character to be a "gamer", and somehow fleshed her out into another X-men wannabe character. 2) she has the most unbelievable superpower, the ability to understand EVERYTHING around her in the battle, right down to how many bullets are in a gun. And 3) of course she's a super-powered hand-to-hand fighter despite being drawn as a 5' nuthin" skinny emo bimbo. She is the epitome of lame. Oh, but her figure isn't wearing a corset, it's battle armor... for her stomach. Riiiiiiight.

Got a neat package in the mail th' other day that I forgot. Anyway.
Mighty Muggs Grimlock! I know, I wasn't too into the Mugg TFs, but for Grimlock, I make an exception. He's kinda neat, he can't lift his huge sword without hitting himself in the head with it, and in a touch I really like, he's got his dino head painted onto his back. Kinda glorious, in his own way. Also, it was free and came with a delicious cookie, so, y'know, win.
Also, this is the tenth Grimlock I've got. Is this ridiculous?
