After hearing "Seduction", in which Des and Stasi seduce and destroy Lady Jaye, Roadblock, Jinx, and Gung-Ho, I begin to see why.

And they're still going, albeit with a slightly modified name and alter-egos, so you're probably right about the publicity. I'm inclined to get ahold of their most recent, non-Cobra records release, too.

Either way, beats the hell outta "Cold Slither".

I found "Rise of Cobra" figures yesterday. Snagged Snakeeyes, Zartan and Stone.

As much as I am not excited by the line itself, there is a huge amount of custom potential.

Shipwreck (the second RoC figure I bought because I actually liked it)

Snakeeyes (gonna finiish the Phoenix Guard!)
NeoViper (or the Commando, I forget, gonna customize it either way....)

I'm passing on the regular Snake Eyes, that head is *horrible.* Paris Pursuit SE, though? Trenchcoat, better head, awesome guns, Timber? I'm in.

The head-molding, including the removable visor, is exactly what I need to make Phoenix Guard Scrapiron, (or as close as I am likely to get).

The Paris SE will have stuff I like as well though. (That trench-coat will be good for a custom Duke based on early DDP appearances.)

I just want it because it looks cool. I'm largely skipping a lot of the movie line because a bunch of them look samey (and not in the good O13 way) or just plain bad. The Doctor looks nifty, though, so him I'm nabbing. And probably a Storm Shadow. And Hawk, because I like Dennis Quaid.

Stormshadow looks.....off somehow.

And, his context in the movie is bad enough to deter me from getting a good toy.

Well, there's a cornucopia of repaints coming out, so one of them is bound to be cool.

Also, forgot to mention this. Bought Sandman volume 2 yesterday and read through it today. This is apparently the point where you either understand the series and like it, or don't and hate it, and I'm definitely in the former camp. Can't wait to buy more. (I forgot to mention it because I didn't get on a computer at all yesterday. Yes. Girls do that.)

"The Doll's House", yeah? That story's awesome, I loved the hell out of it.

Movie Stormshadow is not as annoying as...Skids and Mudflap, but it is pretty dreadful in his own right. It will take a hell of a toy to compensate for that.
