Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.
Bundyrugby'd! So I've been fiddling with Mixmaster here and I feel like I've put together a good gun mode for him! He feels solid, and he can roll on his wheels and still has his claws in front of him. These are the best pics i can get right now:
the pegs at the back of his wheels bases plug into holes in the bottom of his cab piece. his forearms rest on the front end of the wheel bases and the claws face sideways. I couldn't decide what to do with the legs, so I have them folded up on the top as compact as possible. I also stuck the exhaust pipes out the back of the gun mode, they stick up behind the legs. kapow kapow!

Holy crap Don, you're a genius! I've been trying to figure out what those pegs on the back of his wheel-chunks are for, and you just got it! (Bah, I never noticed the holes in his cab). That's awesome.
It's entirely possible the instructions were trying to tell me about that, but the instructions for this line *really* suck, so who knows?
Seriously, what is up with the instructions for ROTF toys and being utterly useless?
The instructions don't come close to showing you to do that, unless it's implied between the last step and the final mode. The photo on the back of the box just has the wheels hanging off the sides, completely useless,so I don't know if the cab holes were intended for that or not. Now I kind of doubt I'll ever get him back into that mode again.
Also, has anyone figured out what the elusive "spinning gears" mech alive feature is on this guy? Why is the box lying to me.
The box speaks of removed gimmicks, like lousy Ratchet's promised gun hand. They've been promising me that for a long time, and continue to lie on the back of ROTF Ratchet's box. Prats! So disappointing!
Having messed with Mixmaster once and found him a bit of a mess, I'm not in as huge a hurry to get him as I thought I was. But the Trukk factor will win me over soon enough.
