I like him okay... he is what he is. The actual BWII color scheme would have been better, but I guess they wanted to make him more "Prime-like". It makes for one hell of a garish lion-- I mean LIGER, though.

He is Not LioConvoy, screw what Hasbro says.

I got:
-NIN's Broken album. Found at at FYE, nobody else bought it, and I had money, so I bought it.
...It's Broken, what do you expect me to say? It's awesome.
-Sandman, Preludes & Nocturnes. I've had my eye on it for a while now and always intended to get into Sandman, since 86 says it's awesome and I do like what Gaiman's done before, so what the hell.
-UniCyclonus, for a friend, from K-Mart.

I snuck in under the wire and got one more figure out of the $7.77 sale. Or technically, $7.97 since that's what was marked on the card. I was in Wal-Mart to do a little shopping and decided to check the Transformers section. The Animated figures were marked as $9.96, but there were three Universe figures, Ironhide, Silverstreak and Sideswipe, all marked as $7.77 on the shelf tags, and $7.96 on the price stickers. I'd been wanting a second Sideswipe to customize, possibly as a Stunticon, and I figured this was my last shot at the sale, so I bit.

Turns out that the figure rang up as $12.99 as I suspected it might, but since the price tag had not been changed, they gave me the price as marked. It occurred to me that while I'll succumb to an impulse buy like that for the sale price, it's not likely at $13 a figure. So maybe I should be happy the price has gone up.

In any case, today's haul: TFU Sideswipe

And it is hell out there.

I decided to embark on an idiotic idea of buying supplies to make my own CDs and sell them at $2-$3 apiece at Open Mic Night or on the street to randoms or whatever. Guerilla marketing, like. Spent $42 on supplies, glurk, but a good chunk of that was blank CDs I needed anyway, so. Chances are I'll lose money and it'll blow up in my face, but it'll be fun to do.

Found a TFU Starscream at Target, finally, and snapped it up for $9 even. I like this figure more than I thought I would, the colors are rather nice, and while there's definitely some joint looseness from mold-overuse, it actually works in its favor in at least one case: Those damn elbows I've complained about the stiffness of on every other copy of this mold I've gotten. They're quite nice here. And now I finally have a damn G1 Starscream, so that's a bonus. Might go in and touch up the paint around the head though...
