New Wal-mart listing reveal newer TF Generations,BH & BS

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

For Nightbeat, it's hard to tell, since his Being A Headmaster is so less crucial to his character--I don't think he's ever actually been portrayed as one.

For guys like Chromedome or Fort Max, though? I can see it.

HFTD Highbrow wasn't really a G1 Highbrow update. I think he was supposed to be ROTF/Movieverse, given his bio actually mentioned The Fallen, who was also in his wave (HFTD stuff was still doing that 'bios tell parts of a fight between the guys in that wave' thing). He sure as hell didn't look anything like G1 Highbrow.

Oh. My bad. And given that I didn't even know about this thing until like three days ago, I'm surprised I even remembered to mention it.

TRA PRIME VOYAGER BEAST MEGATRON

Huh, that's interesting, putting it out in TFPrime instead of Generations. Might look into it, but the reception on this mold has been lukewarm, so.
Ugh, that's not good if right, that means the G1-inspired Megatron character from Prime will now be sporting a BW-inspired Megatron toy, that is a crossover mindfuck.
TRA PRIME DELUXE PROWL
This is likely a repaint of Smokescreen, especially given that that mold allegedly has a divot that would let them stick a lightbar on top. Might give it different armor too, that could be cool.
There's a 5mm peg on the top of the roof, and the peg is in a portion that's a separate piece from the rest of the roof chunk. If they use Smokescreen, they'd have to change the feet because that spoiler is too big for a cop car.
TRG GEN AUTOBOT VOYG SANDSTORM
Making Broadside the last Triple-Changer left. He'd be nice to see, I won't lie.
Most likely Sandstorm will be an orange repaint of Springer.

GDO had TFP FE figures crossing over into Generations, Bulkhead and Cliffjumper. Your point about FOC and BH being in the same aligned universe is technically true, but I think it's safe to say nobody really treats that as the case.
I noticed USA retail stores don't carry these in the higher volume they did last year. Hopefully these Bot shots suffer the fate of Kreo, where USA chain stores refuse to order them.
That's nonsense, nothing is in the same volume as last year right now, we're still in first quarter of the year, toys are at their lowest ordering rates in Q1. And the idea that stores aren't ordering Kreo is equally nonsense, it's stocking and displaying in greater numbers than its initial release.
Last year was a pure nightmare,As pegs were chock full of un-wanted Bot Shots toys, which caused most USA chain stores to restock less frequent on the TFP Deluxes, commanders in 2012.
Totally unrelated. It's like saying the paint on your house keeps lizards away.

I'm just wondering what BW Megatron toy color their going to be using. I think the 1996 Ultra sized Megatron pink-purple colors would look horrible on this FOC Grimlock mold. I think the 1998 TM1 Megatron toy colors would look best on this FOC mold.

If that BH Beast Megatron appears in the TFP cartoon as megatron's upgraded body. Then I agree this would be the worse thing as. As Megatron would trade his fast flying cybertronian jet mode for a ground dino mode that can't fly away when beaten in a fight or when to attack the enemy thru flight. I'm hoping this BH Dino megatron toy is just for the toy line.

I was kinda hoping TFP Megatron in the cartoon would transfer his spark/mind into that powerful Predaking body. at the very least that thing has a alt mode that can fly.

It's already been confirmed that Generations Sandstorm will be using the springer toy mold. This Generations Sandtorm Pic taken from the box of 30th titan metroplex surfaced all over the TF internet sites. http://getsomegrapesoda.com/2013/02/is- ... g-in-2013/

I really want that 2012 TFP Thundertron to cross-over into other TF toy lines like either GDO Asian exclusives,Generations or Botcon. I'd love to see Thundertron's mold get repainted with newer robot heads & turned into 1986 Razorclaw,1989 Victoryleo,BW II Lioconvoy.

Yes,I'm aware Takara released a TFP Lio Convoy using the Thundertron mold. But that didn't have a new robot head styled to look like G-1 Optimus. All Takara did was repaint the Ugly thundertron pirate robot head blue & white. Love to see Hasbro release this Takara TFP Lio-Convoy toy in those colors with a brand new G-1 Optimus Prime styled robot head for $20.

I would think as a Prime Beast Hunters version of the character, that warm silver they gave the voyager figure, but more likely they'll go with the TM1 look as Grimlock is already sporting something similar to warm silver on half his parts.

Once in the toy bio, it's generally considered canon until directly proven not. I figure the bio would say that Megatron was badly damaged in the blast and saved by the Predacons, giving him no choice over his alt mode. I really doubt the FOC Grimlock toy mold would appear in the TFPBH animation.

I was kinda hoping TFP Megatron in the cartoon would transfer his spark/mind into that powerful Predaking body. at the very least that thing has a alt mode that can fly.

Like that would stop them? They made a police F1 car.

Retool. Maybe.

Yeah, I don't care for that. I forgot about that Energon figure.

That's a nice retool. It's clearly the same fuselage and tail, but instead of a rotor there are hoverjet wings, and the transformation has been altered a bit.

That F1 Car idea for Prowl in Energon must have been inspired by the Machine Wars Prowl F1 Car mode idea. http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/machin ... rowl-1445/

I like the extensive retool of the springer mold being turned into Sandstorm. I love it when Hasbro/Takara goes out of their way these extensive remolds. It reminds me of the extensive remolded Beast wars 2nd Cyborg beast toys.
