The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone! Generation 1, Generation 2 - Removable fists? Check. Unlicensed vehicle modes? Check. Kickass tape deck robot with transforming cassette minions? DOUBLE CHECK!!!

It looks pretty okay, yeah, and comparatively it's probably the best one. But here's the thing--it has 'zero' useful articulation. His knees are almost nonexistant. He has almost no useful swivels. No waist at all. His arms look stoic and crappy. He looks like he'd be alright, but then you actually try to 'play' with him.
The smaller Megatron was better, but that only received a limited US release.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

For real, Galvatron has, like, the single worst track record of toys I've ever seen.
So what makes you think a Masterpiece version would turn out any better? Look at Megatron...
I actually didn't mind the Universe version, just wish it was bigger, and the legs stayed on their thigh swivels better. Okay, that the legs were just better in general. Otherwise it's a fine toy, in my opinion.

Okay, new life plan: Get an engineering degree, learn Japanese, go to work for Takara, develop Masterpiece Sky Lynx.
had Takara/Hasbro made the Classics 2.0 Galvatron toy a $27 USA Ultra sized 8 inch robot toy,the toy would have been better as far as thick plastic went, more pieces on the toy,the light up gimmicks & that 3rd mode wouldn't have been partially deleted. The classics 2.0 deluxe Galvatron toy was awful due to it being a last minute ultra sized toy that got shrunk to a deluxe sized toy. the 3rd mode got partially deleted, the plastic got weaker, less pieces.
The energon leader sized Galvatron toy was a beautiful sculpted toy. with strong thick plastic & nice gimmicks. THE TOY SUFFERED DUE IT NOT BEING THAT POSEABLE,THEIR NEEDED TO BE A BALL JOINTED HEAD/NECK JOINT. ROTATE 360 DEGREES WRIST JOINTS. PARTAIL POSEABLE FINGERS,360 DEGREES ROTATE WAIST JOINT. 360 DEGREES SWIVEL ROTATE JOINTS IN THE LEGS & FEET.

The energon leader sized Galvatron arms look fat & short. because Hasbro/Takara mis-calculated when the inflated/increased the Takara voyager sized toy. The voyager sized toy has longer arms & their less fat. I think Hasbro wanted to beef up the mold too much which resulted in it looking too fat with short arms, similar to what they did with Cybertron superme sized Starscream, that got is too fat & has short arms, the cybvertron voyager starscream is better proportioned & more sleek looking.

Why on earth would you want it to be blue? These things are made to hew as closely to Geewun as possible, and Bluestreak's always been silver (in a rather snazzy color scheme, if I do say so, myself). You can't even swing Dom-logic on this one, since I can't think of a single story Bluestreak even appeared in where he was blue, and the one you had as a kid certainly wasn't.
Besides, we've already got Smokescreen as the blue use of the mold.
There's no way i'm paying those high Takara TF MP Import prices from MP-17,18 & 19. These aren't even on my top 40 MP TF Wish list. I'll probably wait for the 75% less prices Hasbro USA versions of MP 17,18 & 19.

In 1998 for the Takara Beastwars 2nd toy line,There was a Galvatron toy released at the ultra size level. it was a tripple changer that turned into a robot, dragon & tank-drill thing. THE TANK-DRILL MODE LOOKS MORE LIKE 1986 GALVATRON'S LASER CANON-TANK MODE COMPARED TO THE CLASSICS 2.0 DELUXE TOY & THE ENERGON GALVATRON TOY ALT MODES.

I have an inexplicable obsession with Diaclone blue Bluestreak. Seriously. I really cannot explain it. It's not my favorite car, he's not my favorite character and yet, every time they release Bluestreak, I want it to be blue like the Diaclone one. I think maybe I just really like that color for the character more than what we got. And, I guess maybe there's a part of my brain that thinks it makes more sense to call him bluestreak if he's actually blue rather than entirely silver. Plus, I would like them to just once actually match the toy inside the box to the artwork outside the box. They've never done that ever. Except for the Universe version. I dunno, I guess I just never liked the fact that as a kid, the toy in hand looked nothing like the picture on the box. Plus, I've never been a fan of the silver color scheme.

Man, you put way too much stock into boxart. It's wrong-headed thinking like this that makes you commit the sin of liking Jazz with door-wings.
Eh, I always liked the fact that he wasn't blue, so you knew that the name referred to his personality, not just his appearance. And again, I really like the color scheme.
