Spoiler for Airachnid's fate at the end of TFP season 2.

No noses? No problem! Zombiebots? Sure, why not. A confusing new canon that allows loose and contradictory material? And now a new sequel show with an entirely different art style that takes place way in the future!

I suspect the TFP Writers & TF Characters won't even addresss the subject of Airachnid. Because the writers wrote airachnid out of the series,so why bother explaining if she survived the season 2 last episode autobot base explosion.
I hope you're right. Airachnid sucks.
I was a huge fan & loved Airachnid.

I'm always a fan & love any sexy female whether it be human or robot. I don't get why the internet TF fans don't like sexy female humans/robots in their TF media/toys. I could care less about decent female persona or female contributions to the cause/war in the TF media,As long as their sexy then they've done their job in my books.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

The mountain base was blown apart to the atoms by the nemesis ship,I doubt the Statis pod with airachnid inside it would have survived & been intact.

I'm kinda hoping Smokescreen is in love with Airachnid & took her with him when he went thru the ground bridge before the base got destroyed. this would make for a interesting love story,it would be cool to see airachnid's reaction to find out she was saved by a autobot who has a chrush/love interest on her. it would be interesting to see how he & she treats each other after the rescue experince. I'm kinda hoping airachnid becomes good, joins the autobots & falls in love with smokescreen. Sorta a BW blackarachnia & silverbolt homage relationship. minus the corny dialogue silverbolt used in beastwars to express his love for BA.
No. just... no. This is one of the worst fanfic driven ideas I've heard and would just relegate Prime to the level of unwatchable.
I dis-agree,It would higher up the intended viewer age. it would add a level of realism to the series. it would show kids of todays era that their not just robots, they can show female to male emotions for each other.

The 2008 Animated TF cartoon series was a unwatchable series. Thanks to the over the top silly Caricature persona traits each character had. the series was aimed & meant for a much younger toddler intended viewership age. The decepticons reminded me of the Three stooges as their silly Caricature personas were way over the top. Bumblebee & Bulkhead were almost near incompetent soldiers that required constant supervision from their higher ranking teammates. Blitzwing & Lugnuts were so over the top stupid, silly & incompetent that they required another bot to supervise, give them orders & give them a purpose in their lives. A big majority of the 2008 animated cartoon episodes were so simpistic in plot+dialogue that they were almost unwatchable for viewers over the age of 6+years old. THE 2008 ANIMATED TF CARTOON SERIES WAS THE LOWEST INTENDED VIEWERSHIP KID AGE LEVEL SHOW OUT OF ALL THE TF CARTOONS SERIES FROM 1984 THRU 2012.

This TF Prime story idea sucks for a few reasons, not the least of which it's shipping for the sake of fanwank and having it take place between Airachnid and Smokescreen would be totally out of character for Airachnid.

And the third reason is that Airachnid sucks and the show is eleventy billion times more watchable without her in it. As for Animated...

That's because they weren't soldiers. They were maintanence bots. See, there were levels to the writing there... ah screw it.

And that last statement is just plain wrong. Proof:

Starscream: "So what part of my personality did YOU come from?"
Slipstream: "You don't wanna know."

Yeah, you're right Deathy, that was totally appropriate for 6 year olds, they totally would have picked up on that and understood it. Totally.

Shockwave
-Totally.

You mean like how Arcee laments about any of her past partners? Or how she and Optimus responded to each other as they were freezing to death in the Antarctic while the others tried to rid the base of Scraplets? Or Ratchet asking "How's it humming?" while he was on the synthetic Energon? I'd say Prime already has quite a bit of male/female emotions in the show, and certainly shows them as more than robots with many of their actions regardless of gender.

There was a ton of references to G1 and Beast Wars in Animated that kids simply wouldn't get because they were too young to know those shows. Those were meant for older fans that had seen those shows. Or like Shockwave pointed out with Starscream asking what part of his personality Slipstream represented. Or even Optimus' reaction when Sari tells him where human babies comes from. Those were jokes meant for older viewers that would understand them. A lot of the plots were actually quite involved as well. The show had plenty to appeal to fans of all ages. It certainly wasn't aimed for the lowest age level of any TF show. That would be "Transformers: Rescue Bots".
