So a new IDW TF Omnibus came out today and it's...Beast Wars?! Bleh, I'm still hoping for G2 at some point. I was shamefully tempted by the BW Omnibus for a minute or two, as it packs in both BW minis plus the entire Sourcebook for $25, but then I realized that that price was $24 too high. At the very least though, I would have something ideal to pelt Simon Furman with were I to ever meet him, but if Maximum Dinobots turns out as good as it's shaping up to be, that might not even be neccessary anymore.

There's a G.I. Joe vs. TF Omnibus coming out soon, isn't there?

Devil's Due released said omnibus shortly before they lost the Joe license.

$24 for the Beast-omnibus might not be bad actually, if it takes up less space than the originals. (I am the type of person who likes to keep content on hand for refernece purposes, but also likes saving space.)

What would you possibly need to reference in the Beast Wars comics? All I'd need was a copy of that page where Razorbeast tied up Ravage to carry around with me so I could show it to people who were considering the comic and I could tell them "This is why you shouldn't".

I nabbed Legends Cosmos and Warpath today. Cosmos is glorious retro-scifi win, and along with G2 Megs, a Legend I want to own Many of. Warpath is also well neat, thanks to his elevating turret, which is awfully clever. Good articulation too, and solid, just a shame the tank turret can't turn well. Else he'd tie with Cosmos. As-is, both are well worth your monies. They're really increasing the niftiness with these ones.

Went into town with The Friends today and bought...way too much.

The Black Freighter- Awesome, been looking forward to this one. I've been wondering just how much of a market this thing has though. I mean, people who've *read* the comic (such as me) will be snapping it up because they know exactly what the deal is, but those who've just seen the movie are gonna be left in the dark wondering just what the hell any of this has to do with Watchmen. I mean, even assuming they understand the allegory (which I'm being generous towards the intellect of Joe Moviegoer in assuming that they do), they're likely to think it's an awfully overt motion to go through just to put the story's events in another perspective. Ah well, at least I know I'll likely enjoy it.

Lux-Pain- Sweet looking DS Visual Novel-type game. Should tide me over until whenever the next Ace Attorney game comes out.

Negima! Vol. 21
Negima!? Neo Vol. 1
Mao-Chan Vol. 2- Apparently I'm going to be on an Akamatsu tear for the next coupla days. Negima's great, and I like Mao-Chan enough to get this second half of it, but I should slap myself for getting the Negima!? Neo manga. It's a manga adaptation of an anime that was a reimagining of another anime that was adapted from a manga! And it's not even actually drawn by Ken Akamatsu! But when it comes to Negima, we all know I'm a total whore...

I downloaded this and the Under The Hood feature.

It is not worth full price.

Especially when it's likely going to be thrown onto the existing DVD anyway.

You should've asked.

That said, you're not really to blame--whoever decided to put out a $15+ DVD for less than an hour of real content is to blame. A ten minute preview of animated Green Lantern does not make up for it.
