I listen to..no podcasts. At all. I guess I might if mobile data wasn't hideously expensive here, but as-is, nup.

I LIEK TRENT'S SUPERNAUT MOAR, also.

Right now? Free Your Hate, by KMFDM. They're good fun, they are. Good SCHOOL SHOOTING fun.

I listen to the um...damn it, what's his name...

Son of a..the guy that was in "The Office" and "Extras". Oh, yeah, Ricky Gervais. He has some hilarous podcasts out there. And, every so often, "Podshock" a Doctor Who podcast thing. A friend of mine's trying to get me to listen to more.

Right now...though? "Rich Girl" by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Punk rock Hall and Oates cover. Rad.

Hey, I was just interested in what it sounded like. One of the other rumours is that Jourgensen just cranked the distortion up more so TVT would think it wasn't Trent anymore, but that appears to be false.

Speaking of, dropped the girlfriend off at work tonight, and popped into the music to see if The Slip was there. For availability curiosity, and all. It wasn't, but something else caught my eye.

Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell II. My father has this album somewhere, but like all his CDs, it's massively scratched. So I bought one for me. It was 'seven bucks,' I'd say that's worth it. It turns out there's only one or two tracks truly fitting a title like Bat Out Of Hell II, and the rest are these insanely long over-the-top rock opera bits with tons of piano and choirs and shit. And it's awesome. It's not the kind of thing I typically listen to, but it's awesome.

Here's the best song from it:

I just wish I could find a video that wasn't horrible.

I do not listen to podcasts because I do not have a pod, therefore I cannot listen to podcasts. Also I hate hearing people talk and prefer to just read shit they've said.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

I rarely listen to podcasts on my ipod, because the headphones don't always play the voices at the right levels. I just use itunes to suscribe because it's easy, and it's all free, then I listen to them while I browse the internet or clean or draw, the latter of which i haven't done much of lately.

Not much drawing lately...

Y'mean...no more Donut-Man?

:(

I've been trying to make myself draw every day, but it's not worked out so well the last few weeks.

I meant to get a website this summer and draw draw draw. Instead, I ran out of money, got a job, and entered job zombie mode. I'm not happy about it. On the plus side, I've been plotting and scheming more donut-man stuff the whole time, I just haven't gotten around to doing much on it besides lots of notes.

After ages of no j-rock, I got back into it big style, with Animetal Lady. Their cover of the theme to "Attack Number One", a 60s girls' anime about the action and drama on-and-off a school volleyball team, is one of the all-out rocking-cheesiest power ballads I've heard in recent years.

Also Mike Patton and Misfits as ever, because KIDS TODAY DON'T MAKE ANYTHING GOOD.

Yay for those two. I've been listening to "Peeping Tom" again a whole lot lately. Damn, that album's awesome.

I've heard rumors of a new Patton album out this year, but I've got no idea when.

Also...this tour coming through KC soon. Dig this. Motorhead and The Misfits! Obviously, I gotta see that.

The podcast I listen to is TFWire, because I haven't really felt the need to expand.

"Cursed Be Iron" by Turisas, who were also at the very same concert as Ensiferum.

Motorhead never bloody tour here. Forgetting your roots is a heinous crime!! Well done though.

Rumours of new Patton albums are like UFO sightings. They used to be really frequent, but now people just think you're crazy if you suggest the idea. And if they DO happen, it's in total secret and probably really messed up. SUSTAINED METAPHOR!
