Re: Upcoming Classics figures
About the only thing I really don't care for is the yellow spoiler. The original is a darker red, blue and white without any yellow visible on the car, correct? It may just be one color too many on the vehicle.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
I'm rather interested in the rumor of a possible Voyager-class Rhinox in the works. Not only would it be awesome to own (as long as they don't screw it up royally like they did with Classics Cheetor), but it gives me hope that one of my favorite Beast-Era characters may soon be made: Beast Wars Ravage.
For those of you who don't remember me from the BWTF boards, I'm a huge Ravage fan, and am proud to be one of the lucky few to own the Japanese Jaguar X-9 figure, a retool of Transmetals Cheetor that was eventually made into Timelines Tigatron. I had heard, while Hasbro was still making the BW 10th Anniversary reissues, that they had plans to release the figure again as Beast Wars Ravage, but lost the mold. I thought it was a real shame, but with the Beast-era characters being remade in the Classics line, now, my hope's been rekindled that the character will finally see a release. And, since I'm betting it'll be a new mold, they could make it doubly kickass by giving it a tape cassette alt mode.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
I'd enjoy seeing more Beast Wars characters in the Universe line, particularly Rhinox. Cheetor's disappointing, but Dinobot's not half bad, and it's good to see this era of Transformers getting some attention. Ravage would be nice as well, though Battle Ravage from the Alternators line makes a decent Covert Agent Ravage.
I'd enjoy seeing a few of the Beast Machines figures redone, particularly Silverbolt and Obsidian. Silverbolt's original BMac toy was pretty lame, and while Obsidian was good, he could stand to be larger and more show-accurate. An Ultra Tankor would be impressive as well.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
Considering the storyline the Binaltech line had for Battle Ravage, I think that was supposed to be intentional.
I would definitely like to see a redesign of RiD Bruticus (he was supposed to be a BM figure, after all), and maybe it'll give them an excuse to make Botanica. One set of figures I'd love to see remade are Magnaboss and Tripredacus (especially Tripredacus; I owned both original toys, and I didn't like how shoddy Tripred was). The Classics line would definitely benefit from more combiners, and I think those figures would be a good addition.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
We're getting a recolor of Cybertron Scourge as RID Bruticus, so while I doubt we'll see a redesign, at least the character will get some attention in the Universe line.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
I've been clamoring for a Supreme Tankorr since the size class was introduced, so I'd definitely like to see that one. Doubt they'd make such a large toy of a Beast Machines character though. We'll be lucky to see him as a Voyager.
While I think remade versions of Magnaboss and Tripredacus are a long shot (and personally feel that they got those two pretty much perfect the first time), I would like to see our long-running concept of Magnaboss repainted as Predaking made reality, and this line would be a good place to do it.

Magnaboss as Predaking? Ooh, I like that; didn't Timelines say that 3 of the original Predacons survived the formation of their namesake faction in the Beast Era? I know Razorclaw and Divebomb did, at least, so that's two of the three Predacons needed for the repaint. What was the other one?

The Timelines comic actually showed all 5 of the original Predacons in Techno-Organic bodies.SynjoDeonecros wrote:Magnaboss as Predaking? And I also think it'd be cool to see a Magnaboss repaint as Predaking.

Re: Upcoming Classics figures
I'd just as soon see all new Predacon molds. Maybe if the movie Devastator does well, a larger combiner might be considered for Universe, though I have the feeling that beast modes aren't really in favor right now.
I have the original Predacons, and while the individual figures look good, particularly with the unified color scheme, they are the very essence of G1 bricks. I'd love to see a modern designer take on the characters.
