The most ridiculous pizza I've ever had.

Post by Gomess »

I like my food. I cook for fun, and people seem to like it (but think about where I live, so hey, diverse food is in short supply). Sometimes, though, I'll order out, just for yucks. So I hit the... Domino's (it's just not got the same ring as 'The Hut', does it?).

O, I was a fool!

See, I decided to order (deep breath) a *large* Double Decadence Meatball Mayhem. "Large", I figure, is about 12 inches, so, a hearty deal. I'm still eating the thing nearly an entire day later.

TWO bases, sandwiched together by a layer of creamy herb cheese, TOPPED with spicy meatballs, red piquante peppers and some VERY chunky onion, with bbq sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce (which adds to the filling quality). Take it from me, people. If you want to maintain a healthy relationship with your stomach, do not order this creature.

Tasty, though.

Ah, the legendary buffalo chicken of Hindi myth.

Seriously, I did always wonder about those "buffalo wings" you guys have.

The term "buffalo" has nothing to do with large grass-eating mammals. (If so, I would not eat them.)

It is a flavor made primarily by mixing cayenne pepper and butter. The place near me favors the spicy end of the spectrum, making their wings great for dealing with colds and such. If you have spicy wings, you are probably getting something like buffalo.

I live near 8 pizza places, all within walking distances. Each different as well. But then again, I'm in New York, home of the pizza.

Why not, though? Buffalo meat's pretty tasty.

And good lord, that pizza sounds...alarming. But kinda good.

Man, it was like dying to save the world. You feel hugely accomplished, but... you're still dead.

I wonder why that flavour is buffalo? I suppose it is distinctly American, and... charges... at you...?

....or, was crafted in Buffalo, New York.

But I like your explanation better.

In New Hampshire, there is a city called Butfuk(sp?), Imagine going on a road trip there. "I am off to Butfuk with my friends for the weekend."

"So, what brings you to NH?" "We are going to Butfuk."

As for not eating buffalo, I am a faux-vegetarian. I try not to eat mammals for both health and philosophical reasons.
