He wasn't exactly a battle emplacement, but Dom's mention of Energon Omega Supreme made me think of the original Omega Supreme, who had a pretty unique base mode. You've got the tracks, the tank that rolls around them, and the rocket and launchpad. I doubt Hasbro would make a Transformer that consists of a bunch of pieces that have to be assembled (kre-o type TFs excepted), but that kind of defense base would go hand in glove with gun emplacement Transformers, and it would be pretty cool to see a modern interpretation of it.

I've always wanted to have Fort Max, Metroplex, and all of the Autobots with battle platforms (Optimus' trailer, Powermaster Prime base mode, Rodimus, Ratchet/Ironhide, etc...) all placed next to each other for a huge Autobot City set up. Never had all of them at once to make it happen though.

Something modular so you could build bigger and bigger stuff out of that idea would be dope. The worst part of G1 Omega Supreme (a figure I had) was the small track and not more stuff going on.andersonh1 wrote:He wasn't exactly a battle emplacement, but Dom's mention of Energon Omega Supreme made me think of the original Omega Supreme, who had a pretty unique base mode. See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

I still have my original Omega Supreme. As kids, my brothers and I used to have the mini-bots hide behind the track for cover during a firefight as the tank rolled around it and supported them. We decided that Omega Supreme was as armored in base mode as he was in robot mode, so he made a good fort.JediTricks wrote:Something modular so you could build bigger and bigger stuff out of that idea would be dope. I would actually love this and I wish I had this like a kid. Pack a larger TF with a minicon and you could have a pretty awesome playset and plenty of dudes to man it.JediTricks wrote:Something modular so you could build bigger and bigger stuff out of that idea would be dope.
