Hasbro's NYCC 2013,questions you'd like answered thread.
My top 10 questions below:
1- Any plans to release the smaller scale Voyager sized MP TF Cars-bots toys in America stores/sites 2014?
2- Any plans to release the Takara GO combiners trio sets of toys in america stores/sites?
3- Will you be releasing any of the exclusive Takara TFP toys in America stores/sites in 2013/2014? toy's I am referring to is TFP Voyager Gaia Unicron,Voyager Breakdown,Deluxe Kup,Deluxe jet Vehicon.
4- What is the extent of the 2014 planned Beast Hunters toys. are they are going to be repaints/remolds. is it foolish to expect a dozen newer molds to get released in 2014? Will you at least release a couple never before seen new molds in 2014?
5- Is it wise not to expect any 2014 fall TF cartoon series toys in 2014? TF Animated & TF Prime released newer toys 6+ months after the cartoons aired, will this be the same exact case with the newer TF toys featured im the newer 2014 TF cartoon series.
6- What input does Hasbro have when Takara creates newer MP TF toys? does Takara ask Hasbro any questions,to help hasbro please customers? Is this controlled by takara & hasbro has no input?
7- If their are no newer fall TF cartoon series toys released in 2014. Will this gap of toys be filled with dozens of newer molded TF generations 30th anniversary toys?
8- Why hasn't hasbro/Takara created any Leader sized or supreme sized new molds for the generations/30th TF toy lines? Are any planned for 2014? Personally I'd love to see a leader sized G-1 styled Rodimus Prime,Leader sized G-1 styled Galvatron. Leader sized 1987 Sixshot. Leader or Supreme sized Masterforce/IDW Overlord.
9- If the TF molds are already created by Takara & released by Takara,Why not use them in America & around the globe where Hasbro distributes TF toys to. Isn't using newer molds far better than releasing repaints. The Takara TF Alternity toys could have easilty fit into the movie-verse toy lines as deluxe scaled toys. the Exclusive Takara TFA & TFP newer molds could have been squeezed into the classics/generations toy lines or released as site/store exclusives.
10- Will fans ever see a time,When Hasbro decides to use their HTS.com site wisely,by selling newer TF molds & exclusives that most USA stores/sites refuse to carry? The HTS.com site would be the perfect site to sell the bigger scale TF leader sized toys & Supreme sized TF toys & Exclusive Takara TF newer molds.

My guess is they'll be some Hasbro NYCC 2013 TF toys convention exclusives. At this point,I'd speculate as follows below:
1- Metrotitan, using the Titan Metroplex mold.
2- Takara Gaia Voyager unicron in probably the Amazon.com universe supreme sized Unicron toy colors.
3- Nike "Calvin Johnson"Generations Deluxe Megatron Purple colored Redeco.
4- some sort of black optimus repaint toy.
5- some weird NYC decorated TF toys verse set. with the kids in it.

Uhh, did you forget that next year is a movie year? That'll be Hasbro's focus for sure.

06,I had a few of these questions in my first draft for this thread, until I editted out a few questions to make the list shorter.Onslaught Six wrote:Uhh, did you forget that next year is a movie year? That'll be Hasbro's focus for sure.
One of my questions in the first draft in this thread was as follows:
1- Since the 2014 is a TF movie-verse year, will this mean some TF toy lines from previous years will go on short hiatus breaks or get cancelled?
1a- When the 2011 DOTM toy line came out in stores, most USA retail chains refused to stock store shelves/pegs with TF3 toys on the street release date until the HFTD,RTS & NEST toys were sold, they had to deep clearance this stuff to get rid of it. ----> To fix this Problem will most USA retail stores & hasbro not release any newer BH & 30TH toys in the march thru june to make sure store shelves/pegs are empty when the TF4 toys need to get stocked in stores on the street release date.
1b- Will BH & 30TH go on a few months hiatus in 2014,then return around Late august/early september when the TF4 toys slow down in stores?
1c- My guess is they'll be no 2014 Fall newer TF cartoon series toys, these will most likely appear in stores in 2015. due to the big TF4 toy line & the 30th toy line taking up so much priority for Hasbro.

Thread update:
So it's the NYCC 2013 week & their are 2 days left till it ends.
At this point it's safe to assume there are no Hasbro NYCC 2013 exclusives. If there were we would have seen them days ago. I suspose I can't blame hasbro for this decision,as the HTS.com site took a beyond long time to get rid of the previous years NYCC TF exclusives.
I wonder if this Saturday,If Hasbro is planning on doing any type of TF toy panel,Where they show off newer TF toys via test shots, projector pics, info. Then at the end they answer a few fans Q & A questions. It seems like Saturday would be the perfect day for this based off past events. Sunday just seems like a wind down type of relax day, where things wrap up early.

Hasbro isn't even at NYCC dawg. They don't have a booth and there's nothing about them on the schedule.

TFW2005's news site writes: "From the New York Comic-Con 2013 Hasbro Party, we get our very first look at the Transformers: Age of Extinction Optimus Prime." http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... oy-178570/Almighty Unicron wrote:Hasbro isn't even at NYCC dawg. Dude I was at NYCC. Hasbro didn't have a presence. Hasbro threw a behind closed doors party in NYC at the same time as the convention (because all the press was in the city at the time) but they weren't at the convention in any capacity.Tigermegatron wrote:TFW2005's news site writes: "From the New York Comic-Con 2013 Hasbro Party, we get our very first look at the Transformers: Age of Extinction Optimus Prime." http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... oy-178570/Almighty Unicron wrote:Hasbro isn't even at NYCC dawg. The NYCC 2013 was from October 10 thru the 13. According to the top 4 TF fans sites. Hasbro was at NYCC 2013 on a pre-early day on October 9,that is reserved only for the press.Almighty Unicron wrote:Dude I was at NYCC. Hasbro didn't have a presence. Various TF fans news sites were allowed into the October 9,2013 NYCC press day. those allowed in saw the TF4 Leader optimus toy in person.
here is a copied & pasted sentence from TFormers.com " Just in from the New york comic con. The night before press event from hasbro are images giving us our first look at age of extinction optimus prime action figure. http://tformers.com/transformers-first- ... /news.html
