Hasbro painted themselves in a corner with Alpha Trion.

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!

Hasbro painted themselves in a corner with Alpha Trion.

Post by Tigermegatron »

Hasbro painted themselves in a corner with Alpha Trion not being named one of the Original 13 Primes. yet being one of the previous Autobot supreme leaders on Cybertron.

In the generation one season 2 cartoon,Alpha Trion said he was part of the very first group of Transformers that Vector Prime created.
In a 1986 Season 3 episode it was revealed that A-3 Became Alpha Trion & took on the role of supreme Autobot leader on Cybertron.

It just seems like all the current Movie-Verse/WFC/FOC/IDW/TFP/BH Media/toy Fiction has written off Alpha Trion as one of the Original 13 Primes & has also written him off as being a previous Autobot supreme faction leader.

Vector Prime didn't exist when season 2 of the original cartoon was broadcast. Neither did the concept of 13 original Primes.

The Primes pre-date the Autobots and Decepticons, and the civil war in general. Being Supreme Autobot commander (which Alpha Trion never was, as I recall) has nothing to do with that particular group.

Um... Alpha Trion is one of 9 names Hasbro has revealed to be part of the Original 13. The others being Prima, Megatronus Prime, Vector Prime, Nexus Prime, Solus Prime, Liege Maximo, Alchemist Prime and Amalgamous Prime.

We saw Alpha Trion as part of the Original 13 when Optimus told the kids about the origins of Unicron in the Prime cartoon. And we know for certain it was him as he later showed up with a message for Optimus when they recovered the Star Saber.
