eHobby Magnificus

Ancillary, non-main-line stuff. Star Wars TF, Speed Stars, Titanium Series, Robot Heroes, that sort of thing. They're kinda neat, but we all know they're not really that important. Admit it, you know it's true.

eHobby Magnificus

And, dammit.

I customized a Magnificus a few years ago. But, in a way, that just makes me feel more obligated to get the official figure (especially as the official figure is legitimately better by virtue of having a new head sculpt).

God dammit. And worse, they probably won't have a Ganymede to go along with him!

Lucky for me I don't care much for the Perceptor mold and don't really give a toss about Magnificus!

I thought the rumor was that Perceptor's remold was actually going to be Reflector. Hm.

Anyway, that Generations/United/whatever Senator Ratbat that Japan's got coming out, that's something I'd love to have.

Hey look, more pics.

I like Magnificus and Ganymede as a concept. And he's a pre-TF colour scheme guy, so I'm just about required to love him. $60+ is a lot to swallow, though. If this were out at retail, or an annoying store exclusive, I'd be all over it.

I notice that (in the pics) Magnificus does not seem to have a rank of zero. And, he has a prominent Decepticon sigil. Both of these things run counter to the idea of him being an exile (with a rank of "0"). Of course, it has been pointed out to me that the character profile on this toy may explain those things.

I didn't think the RTS Deluxe Perceptor's toy was worth the $6.99 Tjmaxx store price. Their is no way i'd pay those high Takara prices for this black "Magnificus" repaint/retool.
