I picked up Grindcore today, figuring I'd better get him while the getting was good. Still $7.77 at Wal-Mart. They put up a couple of large center aisle displays with $20 movie and Animated figures, along with the Bumblebee 3-pack, Ultimate BB, and the current wave of recolors. The recolors are moving far faster than the other figures, and I didn't see many Grindcores left. There's one less now. :D I might get Breakaway before it's all over, but haven't decided.

I haven't been home and opened Grindcore yet, but I really like the deco and what I can see of both modes. Dom's put a review up in the movie toys section, and I'll post one later as well. I'd recommend it.

Worth getting, especially if you do not have Landmine. If you have Landmine, do not go too crazy to find one.

I saw Grindcore awhile back, but passed, because hell, I got a Landmine, and I"m not nuts about the Grindcore colors.

Anyhow. I was just up in Wal-Mart, and almost, almost got Activator 'Bee. Until I saw that OcTankor was actually cheaper. What sense that makes, I dunno, but I figure if I was gonna get him, now was the time. I recently grabbed Fracture, too, and damn, she's kinda nifty.

And a stack of comics. More in the inevitable comics-day thread.

Also. Yes, we badly, badly, need a 25th Dr. Mindbender. If Matt Friggin' Trakker can get a 25th figure, then damn, they should really make with the ol' crazy dentist. "Is it safe?"

Badges! With various things on them! And new incense.

Also MTF Hulk, who has an incredibly nifty robot mode with non-intrusive spring-loaded punching gimmicks. This is definitely a toy that falls into the realms of Worth Getting.

I'm waiting for the grey repaint on that one. Looks like a nice toy (equal parts steampunk and Transtech), but I'm generally oppposed to The Hulk. Ah well, we'll see once I pick it up.

Debated that myself, but Grey Hulk has stupid blue pants ruining him. The green used here makes him look boring in package, but neat out. Wish he had camo, tho'. I too dislike Hulk in general, but this is tres nifteh.

Today I picked up the first Transmet TPB. I shall own them all in time. This I solemnly vow.

I may have to scope out that crossover Hulk. Mainly because I love Hulk. He smash. And, is also a scientist running around with the destructive capability of his greatest invention barely locked inside of him, ready to come out of him at any time. Basically equal parts Doctor Frankenstein and Doctor Jekyll. And also, smash.

Anyway, enough o' that. So, I wandered into the local secondhand place the other day and found a couple nifty lil' things for a buck each.

Actionmaster Devastator: I don't have any Actionmasters, so I figured, "Hey, if you're gonna get one, may as well get the one that makes the least damn sense". He's cool, he's like a lil' Robot Heroes Devastator. And again, for ninety-nine cents, why the hell not, yeah?

Scorpulator: Devastator's Actionmaster partner. Well, should be part of the same haul, but he was priced at a dolla himself, so I figure it's two things. Hell, even without Devvy, I would have gotten this lil' guy, because, y'know, robot scorpion. He's pretty nifty on his own, too.

Also, Doctor Who: The E-Space Trilogy. As I've mentioned before, a buddy of mine gives me his VHS Doctor Who stuff when the episodes are announced on DVD. My Doctor Who VHS shelf is nothing short of ridiculous at this point.
